I prepared the rajma as per Sanjeev Sir's recipe but few changes.. instead of readymade tomato puree I added 3 tomatoes pureed in mixer, added 2 tbsp Butter and 1 tsp Kasuri methi crushed and handful of coriander leaves ... rajma turned out very tasty with jeera rice
I hail from Himachal Pradesh and we cook same way. This type of rajma is called "baaldi" in our language. And my maa taught me the same way to cook, from start to finish :) . Its just that we still use fresh tomatoes instead of puree. Bestest thing in the world.

Sanjeev ji Namaskar. Rajma Raat ko bhigoya hua pani use kerna hai ya nahi. Kahte hai ki pani ko use nahi kerna karan uric acid increase kerta hai. Please guide
I saw, Chef Harpal's receipe for rajma as well. At the time of giving tadka, he put some khada garam masala as well as he put readymade "Rajma masala" as well, but your receipe is straight forward. Need to check how does it taste.
