- Placebo live at the Loreley Festival, 22nd of June 1996.
This is truly Placebo of the old school.
4th song: 'Bruise Pristine'.
Lyrics:
The means are right for taking,
Fade to grey trying to be ruthless,
In the face of beauty
In this matrix, it's plain to see
It's either you or me.
Bruise,
Pristine,
Serene,
We were born to lose.
Cast a line with a velvet glove
Reading like an open book,
In the hands of love
In this matrix, it's plain to see
It's either you or me.
Bruise,
Pristine,
Serene,
We were born to lose.
Encore, encore.
Means are right for taking,
Fade to grey trying to be ruthless,
In the face of beauty
In this matrix, it's plain to see
It's either you or me.
Bruise,
Pristine,
Serene,
We were born to lose. - Видеоклипы
The way he uses harmonics on his guitar is very unique
I'm jealous that I didn't write that riff...
Damn, Bryan is a hell-ass guitarrist! He could not be as fast and clean as Joe Satriani, Kirk Hammett, Steve Vai, and many other "great guitarrists", but he is so crude yet creative... I love it!
i guess it's kind of randomly asking but does anybody know a good site to stream newly released movies online?
@Bruno Case i dunno try Flixportal. You can find it if you google:) -orion
@Orion Henrik thank you, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :D Appreciate it !!
@Bruno Case you are welcome :D
Amazing. And he was only 23 years old by then
Look at how Brian Strums! HOW IS HE NOT TIRED!!!? WOW
Cocaine, likely.
What a BLISTERING performance! Love the speed! Cool sounding guitar, top class drumming!
they had this unique sound till the first lp.
all versions before first releas were very brutal.
this kind of a sonic youth vein they had was fitting perfect with the voice.
unfortunately they abandonded it later.
but as a teeneger i enjoyed this sound
the same is for PJ HARVEY
Brian is awesome! That rhythm is just AMAZING!!!
superrrr, fan desde el 2006
I loved Placebo in 96 and i still love them now. They are amazing and fantastic live.
Birgit Weigelt and I love you
I really wish they still performed the tracks off their first album, some of the best songs are on there. Brian on guitar is so shweet.
I'm so obsessed with this and I wasn't even born in 1996.
Glam Nirvana. Grrreat!
Precioso e ingenioso el solo de Brian ❤
Omg! The audience looks in a way so calm ... nowadays it's impossible to find an audience like this .. I wish I could hear this song in a live gig
They rock live in every time!
Love placebo. Took me a while to get it,but now I do!
estos de placebo son los mas rifados este en vivo es lo mas rifado
That guitar sounds soooo sweeet!
its a pity they didnt keep enough ones like this coming. Top, top tune.
Epic performance 😍😘
This performance is just amazing! We were born to lose!
good old days
thanks for uploading
i love this so much lol
Vaaaaamooo
The debut album is absolutely amazing and it still holds-up today. Honestly, the things I liked best about them back then was, first, drummer Robert Schultzberg's fierce style, and second, Brian's heavily distorted guitar tones. Once Schultzberg left in late '96, they lost their edge, and for whatever reason, Brian seemed to give up on the hard edge musical style. They've never been the same band since. Everything I've heard since that first album has disappointed me. A real shame.
Robert Schultzberg's drumming made placebo imo
@@ruairidhhiggins3736Respect you guys opinion but, to me, the definitive Placebo drummer was Steve.
Miss him so much!
BRIAN IS FENOMENAL ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
they are so sweet!! :)
@chantelle5219 The opening is my favorite part. The way Brian strums is amazing!
that red jag fits so well.
q xevere placeboooo saludos desde peru, mahfud loves placebo
They’re just amazing live, saw them in 04 in Lebanon and they were pristine.
It’s a shame that today’s music is in such a shitty state.
@nopeekingjon
Cuz they stoped playing old stuff from a long period .. they played some old songs in some countries last year, but not so often .. they said it's boring to play all the time the same songs and that they want to share they new and refreshed songs .. for instance, it's very diffucult nowadays to hear Pure Morning live. However, I love them even if they will stop playing old stuff forever
Fender Jaguar.
Wow. Great crowd. What a performance though.
i like guys` appearance!
I don't know why, but I like when Brian stomps his left foot at the end.
Fucking love this
Wahey my mate has the bass version of Brian's Jaguar! :D
So i have the most minor connection with Brian on the face of the earth :L
Boísimo. Rodaxe total de Placebo, chovendo, o público pasando do concerto e puntazo no min 2:27 o tipo de atrás recollendo o lixo co paraugas na man.
@fintobin wow he does. =)
why does this sounds like he sing in cursive
oh fuck. just like "silver rocket " by sonic youth
Parchita 😂😂
