- I haven’t edited for 3 years, but I’ve been in such a big pain after 55th episode for more than 2 weeks that I needed to create something with Eruri so badly. The bond they share remains me speechless, they were literally a part of each other’s soul and flesh and I can’t even imagine how much Levi’s heart is broken right now. I hope his death will be quick and painless, because he deserves peace with the man he loves after all they have gone through together.
This song is so perfect for Eruri! I personally see the first part of the song (00:12 - 01:27) as Erwin’s words and the second part (01:30 - 02:43) as Levi’s response to Erwin’s words. And the verse «If we can meet somewhere in this world in the future» sounds to me like «I’ll be waiting for you in the afterlife». Hope, they’ll meet there pretty soon in manga.

They don't even need to be shipped. They're just too canon. No one can change my mind. I'm still bitter at the fact that Erwin died, and Levi.... f it hurts to see him having to endure the loss of someone so significant to him.

The moment he died I dropped the manga. It was so damn painful
Erwin and Levi’s character development, and the relationship between them was the highlight of Season 3 Part 2 for me. And that’s saying a lot with how amazing Season 3 Part 2 was.
I must add that if I wasn't a SNK Fan and hadn't have seen it, and then I watched this video... I would totally, definetely say that these two have a very special and strong bond.

Erwin saved levi when he was young and put him on a better path, they had a very special unbreakable bond.they were more then friends,they were family at that point having walked threw hell together.
It was very sad seeing Erwin die and Levi left heartbroke and empty.

@@volatileans I don’t think so. For some time I thought “This song fits EruRi so much, but it might be about any romantic couple in AoT”, but then I realised it doesn’t fit Eremika at all. The 7th ending is definitely about Eremika, and this one sounds like EruRi (but of course that’s just what I feel when I listen to it). At least, this song is about two people, not three, not Eren+Mikasa+Armin.
It's even canon that Levi dreamt of Erwin after Erwins gone 😭 he heard Erwin (in his dream) say sth along the line of "the reason you chose Armin, was it because you believe his dream can help save more beyond mine?" 😭😭😭😭😭

God, you rocked with this AMV. I have always thought since I knew the letter of this song that it fits a lot to Erwin and Levi's relationship and after 'Miodnight sun' was animated... pffff it suited even more. This made me cry a lot. I thought I had gotten over Erwin's death but I guess I am not.

I can't put a direct link but i write what the vocalist said: "Midnight Sun" It was a song that was finished at the same time and keeping the same tension with "Name of Love", the song that was last used for Attack on Titan's ending theme. Both songs were written with a certain scene of Attack on Titan in mind, and together they serve as a way to speak of my feelings towards a certain character. The message loaded in both songs suit my mentality as of right now, so i decided to use them both at that moment.
