@Blackpillrevolution Which is the exact same hazard in a tent but you're in more danger in a tent in freezing temperatures because it can't retain heat well. So you must use an external heat source which is usually involving propane or some other combustible fuel. If people are stuck outside without other options why would living in a tent be a better option than some form of insulated shelter?

What a kind hearted, compassionate man. It's so thoughtful of him to use his gift to build tiny homes for people to help shield them from the cold weather. He's proven that they are fire resistant. The government has an injunction to shut him down. I know cause I live there and have been opposing the injunction. People dying of addictions, heroin dealers hanging around their tents or shelters but these tiny shelters equipped with smoke, carbon detectors and fire extinguisher are dangerous. Canadians ooh so nice there's a few. Not the majority they are self centred and care only for their own bricks and mortar. They sure look funny hugging THEIR house.

Eviction job loss hunger lack of education or skill ?= hand and hand with a sort of depression that could set in ..but what are options for higher elevations in bitter cold winters wilderness situations ?..will people flee the cities and flock to the country ? or will they leave the country and head to the city ? I am at loss of how to keep a civil sort of sobriety and simple legal only entertainment not including alcohol or hard drugs .because children will likely be present in this mix. frequently and needless to say a lot of homeless people are homeless for a specific reason and sometimes the reasons are obvious and sometimes they are not .where i live homeless can be a matter of life and death because in winter the temps can drop down below zero for weeks at a time .

They need running water, electricity, a toilet connected to a sewer on a lot a minimum sq footage of 900 sq ft! Everything else is sadistic and a waist of wood! I wouldn't build one of those things for my dog. I have been living in a 250 sq ft condo with my wife and two children and I'm going crazy loosing my mind and literally dying! My kidneys are about finished!

One thing they forgot to mention is these shelters are on wheels so that if an eviction is really going to happen - they can roll their homes to a different location. A possible solution would be if home owners let them live in their back yards but that would open a whole other can of worms... I think this guy has done a great thing and he is saving lives and helping people have a more normal life. Hopefully at some time they will find a real home in the future.
