Media and creators might of been wrong but I've been watching Joker religiously for 8 years and I watch college hoops so I knew what CB was capable of so I never stressed and laugh at everyone writing off nuggets right after olympics 😂 it was crazy to me
Sick of the bad summers the Nuggets have had. Bruce Brown and KCP have not done anything of note since leaving Denver. Nothing. Nikola gets everyone paid... And look amazing. Duh
@@Kodreanu23 This is just wrong. They were limited in how much they could pay him (at ~$12 million) by the CBA. They of course offered that amount, again the most they possibly could have, but Indiana offered almost twice that.
Yes. On one hand no one would predict Jokic playing at this level simply because he basically never has at this point in the season. But I think writing the Nuggets off when they were counting on young guys and young guys have a general track record of improvement (surprise!) in the league 3, 4 games into the season was definitely rash.
I never questioned CB ability to blend into starting line up, that was no the point, anyone can shine along side Jokic. But by trading KCP they still lost another useful player and their bench got weaker, combine that with a fact that they can't trade anyway, that is a lose lose situation. Their 2 second 'best' players MPJ and Murray are playing really bad.
Because they didn’t have his Bird Rigjts they could only offer him what they offered him about 7M a year. There was no financial issue simply a CBA one.
When a team goes to crap you don't have to look any further then the front office. A top GM is worth more then the best player (other then Jokic) in the game. Booth still has that Max Murray deal that has not worked out putting the Nuggets in a position that the 2 and 3 year players have to play like starter. Booth because of his bad deals has no choice but to run with the young guys. Jokic is not only caring the team but the front office to. Booth sucks.
Booth has drafted Christian Braun, Peyton Watson and Julian Strawther with late first round picks. He's kept the core 4 (Jokic, Gordon, Murray, Porter Jr.) of the championship team together. The team is primed to play for a championship.
All the young guys are starting to play well and they are just going to get better. Maybe we should let this play out more than 10 games before we decide it is a failure, because I’m starting to feel pretty good about it.
Booth has made good draft picks and Malone needs to play them, this first quarter season. Best thing to happen is injuries to force Malone to do so. Things are falling in to place for the Nuggets so far…just like it did in 2023.
Booth has been making very solid draft picks. Building the team around Joker while adding youth to the core is a bolder approach than most GMs can make.
Bucks struggling? 1st. KHRIS Middleton is M I A. 2. Dame's defense (and offense) is enough not compared to Jru's offense (and defense) 3. Glenn Rivers is NOT a solution.
Idk, were you? Jokic has THREE CO-STARS to help him! I remember EVERYONE saying Curry didn't deserve MVP because he had help from a lot of starts even though he was BALLING LIKE AN MVP!!! Only hypocrites and haters CONSTANTLY moving the goal post think Jokic should get MVP.
Well no it’s cause his stats are basically unprecedented. Volume and efficiency. I love the idea Curry of all players would have some conspiracy against him getting his shine
Further, Jokic has yet to play with another player that has won any league wide award while playing with him. So forget Finals MVP, he hasn’t had a teammate win All NBA, All Defense, or even All-Star. The situations are nowhere comparable,

they should've kept Bruce.

Throws Nuggets in the title, talks about them for 3 minutes. Also, they couldn't have kept Bruce, they offered him the most they could.
what did they offer him? Why couldn't they offer him more? In order to overpay Murray?

@@rubaiyat300 what would happen if they offered him more?
@@Kodreanu23 The NBA would say, "hey you can't do that"
They needed to get rid of MPJ. Or even KCP at that point, there is always a solution if they really want something.
Joker makes everyone look great and they all get there money j
Yes you were wrong about Denver. You don’t have appropriate capacity to analyze Jokić
KCP 7ppg 2rpg 2apg on 23% from 3p. KCP got old all the sudden and CalvinBooth knew it was coming.
Mobley Allen and Mitchell with shooting all round championship?
And Garland
