This is why the NPC's are polite in the first game. Arthur and John had to beat and shoot the manners into them from 1899 to 1907 and, by 1911, everyone stopped talking shit like they didn't live in a world where open carry is practically mandatory.
I believes its more the years, so if I go for my logic if we are gonna see rdr3 another prequel to be exact, we might see more places similar to Van Horn if not worse, and Npcs could be even more aggressive than rdr2 but we are gonna see in the future.. remember this is 1899, what if rdr3 could be the early days of the old west with dutch and hosea? 1870s or 1880s?? I think theres still some space for imagination.
Playing this in 2x speed makes it funnier. I love how the dog and the lawman joined in on the fight. My favorite part was after the fight was done, you went after everybody who was in town. No survivors.

@@aidenbrown4777 For some reason Micah in my first playthrough mostly liked me, After I broke him out of jail in Strawberry I helped gun down the entire population of the town, Including some random civilians who decided to get their guns and fight me, Micah did that little house call and got his stuff back, After I killed the last lawman on horseback (which had the coolest killcam that I sadly did not record) Micah gave me his holster and a special engraved revolver, Before running back into town saying that he was going to get a peace offering afterwards I found that I had a 185$ bounty and the town was in lockdown.
@@gordon_freeman2542 Micah already was almost beaten to death by an Arthur who's robbed and gunned down a train, rescued Abigail and gunning down dozens of pinkertons, then running away with John while climbing up hills and simultaneously fighting the Pinkertons, and he did all of that in mere hours AND WITH fucking tuberculosis.
Micah would've been absolutely slaughtered if Arthur was at his Chapter 1 state.
This is actually how ALL of my Van Horn trips end up.

I got into a fist fight here and the next thing I know 30 people surround me and start to shoot me. I'd looked like Lonzo at the end of training day when the only reason I'm standing is because the impact of all the bullets are keeping me up😂

One time I went to the bar of Van Horn. Never seen the bar with that much people there. Probably over 20 man or smt. As soon as the first guy provoked me, I started a whole fist fight with the bar. After a while the shooting began. And then the whole town went after me. The whole shooting took me 20 minutes. Fucking 20 minutes. There were just spawning from nowhere. But in the end I ended the whole town. Every man, woman and even animal (I know unspoken rule don’t kill horses and dogs but come on it’s van horn).
