Great game! Battle of the convoluted last names...... Antonio, can you put the PGN download in the description? Would be handy when I'm analyzing your games. Thanks! PS Nice updates on the clock!
At 8:08 I took my seconds and decided not to enjoy the show, I found Bg6, does it work? I saw that after fxg6 white can capture with the h pawn threatening Qxh6 and the rook on E6 can'take the pawn on g6 because of Rook takes g6 queen takes g6 and the bishop on f8 is now unguarded so Qxf8 would be terrible. Am I missing something?
When hxg6, black will simply move Kg8, preventing check and causing a breakdown in whites position because they are down material and no longer have any tangible threat against the black king. Along with this, because the white bishop is now gone, black can check the white king with Ba6+ at some point, allowing black to develop its undeveloped pieces and giving black even more advantages. Also, even if you were to ignore the hxg6 and play Qxh6+ after black captures the bishop on g6, the position is till losing after black moves the king to safety on g8, and again white is down material with black now able to develop its remaining pieces without any substantial threat to the black king from whites pieces.
Many thanks for the Clock except I watch this from the Web and I have a suspicion that you have an application (computer or inferior alternative). It said, in the top left cornet "Update Adadgator" or something similar. What is Adapgator? Sorry to be a nuscience cos I suggested the Clock in the first place and would find it useful particularly on teme sensitive games. James - of no particular chess rating.
I literally just played a move on chess and y said to myself in my head "if you found this position, you're a very good trapper of knights" 😂 then after came to watch the daily game 😁
Nepo is my favorite modern player b/c he routinely turns out games like this! He plays chess like a boxer from the 1930s who would fight in a phone booth, taking his opponent's blows without worry so he could land his own!
Nici eu, foarte bine ca a plecat in germania, cum adica e in top 100 si jucatori de sah romani n au auzit de el, bag pula n el guvern, numai sclavii stiu sa i promoveze.
15...Qe7 isn't going to help, because, Nepo is a Top Notch GM & would play 16.Kg1 & would retain a clear advantage. Black makes his 2nd inferior move with 15...Kh8 [14...Nc6 was his 1st], because even though Nepo retains a clear advantage after 15...Qe7, it isn't as strong as after 15...Kh8. It's "game, set & match" after 16.Nxc6, we just get to watch how a Super-GM slaughters an"average run of the mill GM".

I wasn't free during the quiz, I watched the entire stream later. I got 10/15. Need to catch up Bobby Fischer and capablanca saga
I am not too good at this. But at 5:21 wouldn't bishop to b5 be a good move for white? If they move the queen you trade a bishop for a rook

at 5:12 why doesnt black move the c6 pawn to c5 to kick the bishop?
Clicked notification after 40 minutes, don t know if I am an excellent subscriber
At 3:04, rather than playing bd3, can Nepo play bXh6? I think this would work. What is the best defence to this move?
