welp i had my outside outlet stop working, replaced the outlet checked everything and then found this video. the outlet in my bathroom was tripped.... reset it and the backyard one worked. thank you
Thank you, I was doing all trouble shooting myself with the panel and this worked at the end after watching this video.
Thank you very Much. I just changed every outlet and switch on the outside of my house after watching three hours of RUclips university. Thought I checked all the GFCI outlets still nothing until I watched your video. Re checked and sure enough there was one GFCI hidden under a table in the Garage. Clicked it and BAM everything is working. Well I got new outlets (LMAO)
Glad the video helped. And glad you were able to get it working. Thanks for checking out the channel. Blessings!

Extremely helpful! Didn’t even think to check tripped GFCI’s on the inside of the house, where I found that a tripped GFCI in a half bath was connected to my exterior outlets…
Glad I could help!
Thanks! Saved me a call to the electrician.

I have this issue. And this video will probably help a lot. But first I need to file what a GFCI circuit is. 😂
This helped a lot. I thought it needed replacing but it didn’t.
Glad we could help and thanks for checking out the channel and dropping us a comment!
Thanks. It worked for me. My backyard patio outdoor outlet or power plug lost power. The GFCI reset button is on the front yard outside wall outlet. After push the reset button, everything started working.

Thanks for checking out the channel! Hope you have a great day also!
I have an older house with no GFCI outlets. No power to the outside outlet. Even tested the wires with a multimeter. No tripped breakers. Any other ideas?
My assumption right off the bat would be that they have hidden a GFCI somewhere. Its the only reasonable explanation. Not the only possibility but I have seen it many times over where they installed one in the crawl space or basement joist somewhere. Sometimes the attic or even a closet. Hope this helps!
I try to reset button but green light is not turning on
I would say the GFCI has gone bad then. If you have a tester you can pull the outlet out and see if you still having power going to the outlet. If the GFCI is bad or has no power the reset will not work.
