OK so somebody please correct me if I'm wrong. “小巍” Xiao Wei literally means “Little Wei” it's a nickname. In the NOVEL, Kunlun calls Shen Wei “小鬼王 = Xiao Gui Wang” aka “Little Ghost King” I think this moment in the show is meant to be a reference to the novel, AND ALSO tin foil hat theory, I think that their flashback in Episode 34/35 was cut for censorship reasons because I don't recall him ever referring to Shen Wei as Xiao Wei in the flashback? Unless I'm mistaken. But it would make sense that Shen Wei reacts like that to an old nickname from Kunlun. But because of Chinese censors these scenes may have been cut. BUT REGARDLESS this is meant to be a cute/sweet nickname that throws Shen Wei for a loop.
