It's a big rock cone crusher liner. It's the same as my Spiritfire ring. That one is just bigger. Love it. Nice work on the trees and very good explanation on the process. Love ya brother. 🌲❤🌲✊🪓
What works for me is how he takes his time to let you see how he's thinking. For me (I have a lot of experience, but mostly cut and run) this is crazy valuable. Thanks BBR. You are my favorite. Actually August is right in there too.
I'm watching years of experience in action! This job proves when felling, it's not a race, take it slow and steady to check and double check what you're doing. Much respect, Buckin!!!
it's really not a bad thing to slow down in stressful situations, unless it's Combat....and fallin' ain't combat...you have TIME....it's VERY Wise in my estimation to use it.....and when something unforseen happens, it's usually a damn good idea to pause and think it over........good job Billy ....nice planning and execution man !.....OnWard.....
Love you work Billy. That was not a easy job and one that commanded all the wisdom and experience. Taking you time was the right thing to do, anything else would have been costly. Looking forward to the next one :)
I got to give you much credit to bring people into your life on a daily basis. Trying to stay positive and have good content. You are a true MAN. You and your family have a very merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤
You making perfect sense on the drop direction of two limb bound trees. I ran into an exact example of the holding your talking about when trying to drop two trees that were limb bound supported by 6" thick Ivy growth tangling them together. I even had pullied tension tugging on it.and could not get the first to drop, had to drop me in tandem.
Buckin you are a true inspiration. I love playing in the woods. Would really enjoy working with you and that fine young man you and the lady have raised. Truly inspirational
Love how you’re so precise with your cuts Buckin. Safety first!! Always enjoy seeing the incredible finds your friends have. It sure did sound like a church bell,& will definitely make a good fire pit. I hope you’re able to get one just like it. Also loved seeing those old vehicles. They sure don’t make them like they used to. Strong, sturdy,& long lasting. Be safe friend, enjoyed the video Buckin.💯❤️👏🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
Love it! Thank you for the videos and content! You taught me so much about cutting and taking care of my saw/chain! The knowledge I gained from your videos helped me safely clear my property for the new house my family and I are now moved into. Sincerely thank you for all you do.
Buckin’ That is a cone crusher as TazMan says. I got one from a rock pit contractor. I was told at the time they were not able to recycle them. May have been not worth hauling to the scrap yard 25 years ago. My neighbor has the other half. Mine looks exactly like the one you took video of. My neighbor has chain hooks on the sides of his. I was told they are high nickel content cast iron. They do not rust much. Mine has been used as a fire pit and half buried for the 25 years I have been using it. A little surface rust but no scaling. Great fire pit.
This is a good one, I lost a saw to a limb bound ponderosa, just as you described it was leaning way out and when I got to hinge wood I tried wedging it over. As I set the wedges the hinge wood broke and the stem left the stump and smashed the gas tank on my 540 which was still in the cut. Long story short it was a hard lesson (don’t fall trees with your climbing saws!) With the supply issues ongoing from the pandemic my saw was down three weeks waiting on the tank.
That was like the bottom of the ninth, bases loaded and a full count on the batter with the greatest closer on the mound! Needed one strike to end the game and you delivered a 101mph screamer for the win!! Always a pleasure to watch sir. Merry Christmas, stay safe and God bless.
That was sure fun to watch Buckin! It is almost like you hyperventilate a litlle...like holding your breath until those house crushers were on their way down. You always nail it though my friend. You never leave anything to chance!
Amazing job of figuring this cutting job out. Very tight spot. Always a pleasure to watch and learn from you. Jobs like this will pucker a person up. Love what you do and your message of love and kindness.
Buckin! I just now got what you mean with the two limb bound trees! I’ve heard you speak of it in other videos and just now seen what you mean! It’s because of all the limbs no letting go of each other so the poles can slide against each other!!! Make total sense! Thank you thank you thank you for all the great information! Your an amazing person and inspiration!
IT BAFFLED ME AS I WAS NOT BROKE IN REALLY, AND WAS NEVER EXPLAINED THIS , UNTIL I STUMBLED ACROSSED IT IN THE BUSH 20 OR SO YEARS AGO. STRUCK ME ODD, NOT NOW THO,. WATCH THE THE CROWN FRIEND NOT THE CURF. THX PAL.
Watching you fell is like watching an artist Buckin! Second ta none in the art of fallin. If you start getting winded forcefully place your tongue on the bottom of your mouth when you exhale as if your opening your jaw with your tongue. Try to inhale through your nose to create more nitric oxide(opens up the blood vessels) and humidity the air. If it’s real bad try to do a hum in your exhale. That helps vibrate nasal passageways to create more nitric. Love you man be safe!
I cut a lot of dead oaks and they get limbbound terribly with each other and it can be a real treat pickin them apart. I’ve had them to where the tree is actually leaning and you make your back cut and it doesn’t move, and you pound wedges and it still won’t move, and then we get just end up dragging it over with a big tractor 👍
That's anxiety that you're feeling, Buckin'. It's okay. It happens to a lot of people. It means that you understand the seriousness of the situation, and that you're carefully thinking your way through events and possible courses of action in order to reach the desired outcome, like the well-experienced professional that you are. If one did not have those feelings, they may very well become over confident, and thus more prone to mistake or accident. Have a sit, catch your breath, and carry on. Often those little breaks give one a chance to come up with fresh perspectives. Cheers, and well done!
Buckin! Couldn't hardly stop laughing 😆. Rockin those fancy pants😆😆. Cracks me up when an old school dude changes up what he's been doing for decades. They must have been a gift. Can't hardly imagine you going out and buying those with your own money. Not judging, just getting a kick out of the quality entertainment and education you provide. Thank Buckin.

Textbook falling. I always slow down on the technical cuts too. However I only fall in the bush so the stakes are a little lower but dealing with a hung up fir or something is worth taking your time to get it right. Good stuff!!
Buckin it's good to see ya sirmizing how to put timber on the grown. Them 2 on the way over pulled and pushed each other in the process of going over. Great to see ya in control all the way. That breathing thing that happens under stress. With me when close to building or what not , under stress. I all ways broke a sweat, its wearer. Good to see ya in action, love wins , merry Christmas to ya and all.
Thank you for the valuable information buckin. Still having trouble getting my chain sharp. I guess I’m just slow. Will keep working on it. Have a merry Christmas sr. ❤️🌲🌲🌲❤️
Once you’ve ruined a chain it’s hard to bring it back. You may need to have it ground to the proper angle again before you can continue filing. If your a pro from way back, you can do it in your sleep but tennis elbow can be a hinderance lol
Wow man! With this superb cut you got a new subscriber + like! I just bent my bar today (it started to cut curved and got pinched hard) and needed a cheer up video! You did it!

A good puller can also be your friend with limb locked trees. Tirfor fixed line pullers are a great tool to have in your kit for tree work.
So satisfying to watch them fall. Saw sounds well tuned!
-35 celsius here in finland last week, now +2 today.its changing fast. great video.
Great job, buckin, good to see you back in the saw dust.
Nice and tidy Buckin. She almost swung in. Neat stumps.
