As a side note if you look at the pose they have BEFORE the scene moves to Faust's eyes... You can see that Necro is threatening him while Undyne is goign to shield Dizzy, Necro just doesn't get to act because of Undyne's reaction.

They're kind of like her auto defence system. Despite being a gear, she's a pacifist who was afraid of using her own powers so they manifested as Undine and Necro. Their minimalist designs in Stirve suggests to me that Dizzy now has a greater control over and a willingness to use her powers so she relies on them less.

I mean, it's not a destruction, but a distortion of it. Faust has worn out to be the "Patient", and so have his moves and manners have distorted considerably.
