Today I show you how to build a fully functioning clock tower in Minecraft! This thing works perfectly, and allows you to tell the time from an awesome looking build!

Here's the tune for a generic clock tower (numbers represent how many times you have to hit the noteblock)
16 - 12 - 14 - 7 (slight pause)

That looks like the westminster chime. I found one which I could play on the guitar, and it uses the notes B,G,A,D - D,A,B,G.
The tuning on noteblocks would be:
17, 13, 15, 8 - 8, 15, 17, 13.
It could be that our tunings are using a different scale.
Also, I use 6 ticks of delay in between each note, and 12 ticks in between the two sets of 4 notes.
The 'instruments' I like require a noteblock with air under it, one with wood, and one with packed ice.
@@AnimilesYT Yeah, I made it by ear and recreated it from memory using my piano as a base. I didn't know that specific melody had a name, so I didn't know the exact notes I was looking for.
You should build a prismarine/quartz version to fill the space in the middle of your base!

The note blocks change by a semitone each click, aka if u have a piano, its like going up a key each click, this includes black keys too :D.

Pretty cool! I made a real-world time clock for my first serious redstone project, back in 1.8, maybe 1.9? Hermitcraft was nearing the end of Season 3, I remember. I was really proud of it at the time. I kinda want to revisit it one of these days though. Maybe make it work outside of spawn chunks if possible, or see if I can make it more efficient. I dunno. But in any case, I've always loved watching people make clock towers since then. I don't think I've ever seen anyone try a real-time clock though, so I'm still proud that I made the only one (even if it's just the only one I know of.)

First of all, make the pattern on the ground inside the clock (do not add note blocks): gold block, repeater (4 ticks), repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (2 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block, repeater (4 ticks), gold block.
Now come the note blocks: Name a normal note block DO (in an anvil). After that, place a music block down, right-lick it twice, control-middle-click it and name it RE. Place the RE one, right-lick it twice, control-middle-click it and name it MI. Place the MI one, right-lick it once, control-middle-click it and name it FA. Two clicks more and you have SOL. Another two and you have LA. Another two for SI and one more for DO (name it DO+ so as not to confuse it with DO). Again, two more for RE+ and two more for MI+.
Placing of the note blocks: take RE, MI, FA, SOL, LA, SI, DO+, RE+, MI+ in your hotbar. Place the note blocks on the gold blocks in this order: RE+ MI+ RE+ DO+ SI SOL SOL LA RE RE SI SOL RE+ MI+ RE+ DO+ SI SOL SOL LA RE RE SOL.
Finally, set time to 6000 and, listen to it and if you like it, leave a like.

Can you make a seamless piston feed tape but sideways on a wall? If you can do that, then you might be able to make a real analog clock!
In regards to the note block chime, set the note blocks in a pattern like this:
14 clicks, 10 clicks, 12 clicks, 5 clicks, 2-4 tick repeaters,
5 clicks, 12 clicks, 14 clicks, 10 clicks, 2-4 tick repeaters,
14, 12, 10, 5, 2 4 tick repeaters,
10, 12, 14, 10.
This will play the westminster quarters, which is the same chime as Big Ben plays (and is also a really popular clock chime song. Hope this helps!

I NEED this in my minecraft world. I always knew you were good at futuristic builds but I didn’t know you could make something like this clock tower so well! Most redstone builds look kinda bad (especially mine...) but this looked like a Grian build!!!
