I hoped they would, and am so glad they did. I'm glad she stayed strong &cut off those who caused her harm. The ML is very handsome &always does a great job in his roles. The FL, new to me, also did a great job here.
Same! I couldn't handle him as uncle, he's Uncle. That trying to move forward in/with a platonic relationship was too exhausting for me. But, I understand... she had childhood emotional baggage to unpack before she could deal with adult emotional responsibilities and he had to come to terms with his burgeoning adult-behavioural tendencies towards her and wait for her realisation and consent to apply [adult] venereal actions to their interpersonal communication moving forward.
Love this version ❤FL stayed strong, Uncle never interfered, but always had her back. Am I wrong for wanting a Pt 2 with the Big brother as ML making amends to the world, with his brothers as background? Not to FL, they don't deserve it, but to pay penance and maybe redemption
This is a really good version of this story line. The FL doesn't take crap from the family and comes out the winner. This ML is one of my favorites (his lips are oo-la-la 🥰), I've seen him in many dramas. The 2d FL was a bit wishy-washy and didn't bring much to the role, I got the sense that she didn't know what to do with the role. The rest of the cast was very good. 👍👍

Just watched the male version of this drama ,the protagonist that was maltreated was a male. With 3 vicious elder sisters. I cried for him. It was very heartbreaking .
I just this earlier without subtitles and I understood like 90% of it and now I finally find it with subtitles and I'm like seriously They all did a great job all of the actors the production team they did a great job especially the brothers the older brother he brought me to tears he did amazing so did the female lead
I liked this story a lot. It’s always very satisfying to see how FL finally thriving after rebirth and separation from the ungrateful family members… However, please, next time pay more attention to the basic details of the story you’re telling… like how FL is supposed to be banned from the kitchen (staff apparently doesn’t know her so they don’t make her food) but she then appeared to be cooking and baking for the brothers… or how long FL has lived in the family (at first it was 1 year, then it changed to 3) and I don’t remember anyone saying how long in the future she came back from… But, I did enjoy this one overall, so thank you 😊 ❤❤
At first I was thinking that this was more believable than other versions of the story I have seen before. Female Lead did get the top college entry exam score in the country, which is a bit much but I can believe it. But then... Midway through the story they said that earlier (3 years before graduating high school), she had won a gold metal for medicine (!?!), and was one of the world's best hackers. She was also mentoring a super gifted doctor in medicine. THEN the story implies she is also about to become an award winning song writer and jewelry designer. While in college. And helping run a multi billion dollar business. Oh, and in her spare time she also saved her musician brother from deep depression through her song writing and other assorted stuff. Now my suspension of disbelief is completely broken, so I realize that no sane person would stay for a month (let alone THREE YEARS) in a family where they are not only openly scorned and beaten, made to sleep on a floor in a utility closet, and forced to drop out of school, but also starved into malnutrition! Certainly they would not stay if they had a viable alternative. And the Female Lead absolutely did have that with her Little Uncle, who is safe, loving, financially well off, and Wanted The Best For Her. The show was well acted, but I just couldn't take it seriously. After writing this out, I want to slap myself. I'm not sure if it's because I wasted my time watching this show with its' Female Lead of Absolutely Awesomeness, or if it's because her accomplishments made me realize I have wasted my life! 😂

Just be warned, she really is the Bestest Person Evaaar (ever). It isn't the first, or the last, story to use this trope. Unfortunately, lol. When the Lead (or anyone) has all the intelligence in the world, AND a loving family willing and able to take care of them, why why why would they let themselves be abused like this? To me, this goes beyond the Mary Sue fantasy into stupidity. But after all, everyone has their own preferences, and we all want to watch different things at different times, depending on our moods. So I hope this story is for you! And enjoy the Male Lead!!
Every version of this plot I will love in some form or way! I always like how they change the approach to it each time. This was a middle ground version of the plot for me. It would’ve been better if they kept it being realistic but all of the sudden she was like the most smartest advance person alive?!? Like midway through. I still think the version where it with an older a sister is still the best version. But I will say this oldest brother definitely has the closest remorse so far like the version with the older sister. Other versions I have watched the siblings don’t quite match that level of remorse from the older sister version. In addition the adopted to lovers plot always kind of throws me off🤷♂️ I’m saying the best lover is also from the older sister version. But this lover I can’t deny is handsome so 🤷♂️
I just love this ml.... He is very good... Dominant, handsome and very attractive... Plus has great acting skills... Fl is really beautiful..... So good with acting too... Both did justice to their roles... The brothers are all good looking and great actors.... Lovely story and script... ❤
Ooo… 😯 this was a good version of this plot! There were a few more twists and reveals that I haven’t seen in others, that made it unique. As always, it’s great to see the FL standing up for herself and staying firm in her resolution to break with her awful family. And the brothers did an excellent job of going from heartless scumbags to remorseful, regretting and guilt ridden in this one. For example, the eldest brother at the jewelry show. He looked haggard, and I might have been imagining it, but it seemed like his suit looked wrinkled and hanging off him, like he’d lost weight and didn’t care because he was so torn up about his sister. And if it wasn’t a styling choice, then that actor was impressive in giving that impression! 😉 While the relationship we did see between the FL and the ML was super cute, my one wish for this show was that we got to see a bit more of them now that their relationship has transitioned. 🤭 But even as is, I was still really happy with it! 😜
This is my 4th or 5th version of this plot. My favorite version is still my 1st with Peng Daidai (FL) and Xie Hong Xin (ML). Sister (CEO), Brother (Medicine), Brother (Actor - I think), FL (a genius researcher in the medical field and is even better than all her siblings) and finally the adopted sister. Peng Daidai's portrayal of the character managed to make me cry for her. I didn't cry during this version but I watched the whole thing without skipping. Did the same with Peng Daidai's version. It's a very good plot, but very sad... this sweet girl who just wants to be loved by her newfound family but instead experiences so much bullying, toxicity and hatred. All the versions have been wonderful in their own way and I can only recommend them ❤❤❤
I’ve seen your favorite version. It was really good. I know the main plot is about family but I did wish for more relationship development of the 2 leads in that version. The 2 main leads were very good together. I too have seen about 5 versions of this storyline. The only thing I’m not satisfied about is the adopted daughter’s punishment. They never punish her enough. She just gets dragged away. I want to see her sitting in jail being miserable. Call me petty. 😂😂😂😂😂 There are versions where the main lead is a male (son). That version really made me cry. 😭😭😭😭😭

The adoptive brother is ruthless to the extent of killing the father and mother never repent until she died. And this is the 8th.version of this plot😅. I havent finished this one yet but I still like Lin Ruxue's version. And the ML 1st version is the most emotional one. Made me cry either🤣 His family are his friends from the orphange after rebirth.

I enjoyed this drama so much, usually I tend to skip a lot, but this drama had me so hooked I could almost feel her pain. I repeat myself, how can you treat your own flesh and blood so coldly and a 'stranger' (in the end the truth came out) why was it like that. The chemistry between the two leads was very strong. I felt a little sorry for the brothers, but they deserved it. Thank you for sharing!
My favorite story line. It kind na sad too me how they are her real blood family’s and they treat her bad but this movie have teach us that peoples with bad motives or a bad two face can treat you bad even they are your family.
This was emotional. It was sweet. Could have spent more time with the leads being sweet on each other. It was angering and i skipped a bit of the family drama but satisfying to actually see the family really feel their retribution. This was less about her getting revenge and more her moving on and dispencing a taste of their own medicine. She was a strong FL. Obviously she got the upper hand thanks to the MLs power and indulgence. He was very handsome and gentlemanly. Who never hesitated to protect the FL. 😅 😂 Their relationship was strong and progressed very naturally. My only complaint is to the channel! I spent 2.5 hrs and you covered over the 1...1 REAL KISS!
Seen three different versions of this story and this one is my favorite by far. I am really glad that the fl and ml lead got together even though that they were “family” in the sense of adopting each other as family. It’s similar to the 3/4/5 brother stories where one ends up being not blood related and ends up with the fl.

Could be she snuck in when no one was looking. They ignored her so much they probably wouldn't have noticed, plus it was the mother her forbade. Everyone else didn't know she wasn't supposed to be there.
Aww, I just can’t help it, I found this to be so sweet. That line, “Congratulations on your entry into the adult world” floored me. I smiled at the way “Little Uncle” followed FL with his eyes and smiled. I read in a comment someone felt this drama crossed the line because of the age difference between FL and ML, but I don’t see it as such. FL was at an age considered grown. She was a female genius which usually signifies more maturity than her male counterparts, which I might add, was significantly portrayed in the maturity levels between FL and the biological brothers. Her character and personality had been cultivated by the warm, loving environment she had basically grown up in with “Little Uncle”. She was comfortable in their existing relationship and had no fear of saying exactly what she wanted and needed as they were functioning in a relationship of acceptance, loyalty, and trust. A 9 year age difference, especially with her maturity level, was nothing. I say, “Right on with the right on!” Woo hoo! Does it sound like I liked this film? I most certainly did😊
Amazing I was getting worried when she will end up with the little uncle as the wife 😊.The situation was complicated the ml couldn't confess his feelings to avoid scaring her and the fl couldn't cz she feared he won't see her that way.alcohol saved everything cz she confessed and kissed him.I'm glad the fl didn't end up with the previous family. Anyone who suffers this kind of treatment from his/her family will really find it difficult to make amends. The family took her back from the "uncle" and treated her badly. Why did they take her back, if that is how they will take care of her? The contrast between the two treatments FL experienced has nothing to do with money but family affection (even just little). The maids of her biological family are better than the family. I applaud her open declaration to sever ties with them during her banquet, lest they claim glory for her achievement. The little uncle truly deserves the honor.
It was good but I like other versions. There fl had a talent in one thing and starts making carrier out of it... In here nothing about her specific carrier is mentioned...
I really like this story line in every version. The one thing I wish is that they would put in a redemption arc, especially for the brothers. Dont have to be happy family but not totally cut off either. Also they could have done another love interest or no love interest at all. Kinda weird there is a significant age gap cause she was like 8-10 when they met and he was already an adult so it was like whoa. Some plotholes but overall I enjoyed it.

I loved this one🧡🥹! I will not lie, the ending with her pleading for the family to return to how it was in her childhood before she was abandoned made me cry. I wish the FL and ML remained as uncle and niece, but the characters' chemistry was so strong and natural, that I just sighed in acceptance lol. I am happy for them either way☺️!

I’ve seen your favorite version. It was really good. I know the main plot is about family but I did wish for more relationship development of the 2 leads in that version. The 2 main leads were very good together.
I too have seen about 5 versions of this storyline. The only thing I’m not satisfied about is the adopted daughter’s punishment. They never punish her enough. She just gets dragged away. I want to see her sitting in jail being miserable. Call me petty. 😂😂😂😂😂

@@jennyjen1399 I've watched that version. That's the 1st version of this plot. ML is business plot with 3 sisters (1 of them plays FL in some dramas). The adoptive brother is ruthless to the extent of killing the father and mother never repent until she died. And this is the 8th.version of this plot😅. I havent finished this one yet but I still like Lin Ruxue's version. And the ML 1st version is the most emotional one. Made me cry either🤣 His family are his friends from the orphange after rebirth.
The story is really good 💯 I like the ml the most he always look innocent and the FL really played it well

I enjoyed this drama so much, usually I tend to skip a lot, but this drama had me so hooked I could almost feel her pain. I repeat myself, how can you treat your own flesh and blood so coldly and a 'stranger' (in the end the truth came out) why was it like that. The chemistry between the two leads was very strong. I felt a little sorry for the brothers, but they deserved it.

This was emotional. It was sweet. Could have spent more time with the leads being sweet on each other. It was angering and i skipped a bit of the family drama but satisfying to actually see the family really feel their retribution. This was less about her getting revenge and more her moving on and dispencing a taste of their own medicine. She was a strong FL. Obviously she got the upper hand thanks to the MLs power and indulgence. He was very handsome and gentlemanly. Who never hesitated to protect the FL. 😅 😂 Their relationship was strong and progressed very naturally. My only complaint is to the channel! I spent 2.5 hrs and you covered over the 1...1 REAL KISS!

Seen three different versions of this story and this one is my favorite by far. I am really glad that the fl and ml lead got together even though that they were “family” in the sense of adopting each other as family. It’s similar to the 3/4/5 brother stories where one ends up being not blood related and ends up with the fl.

Plot hole is that she never entered the kitchen because she was forbidden but there’s a video of her cooking in the kitchen and she cooked for her brother occasionally
Could be she snuck in when no one was looking. They ignored her so much they probably wouldn't have noticed, plus it was the mother her forbade. Everyone else didn't know she wasn't supposed to be there.

Aww, I just can’t help it, I found this to be so sweet. That line, “Congratulations on your entry into the adult world” floored me. I smiled at the way “Little Uncle” followed FL with his eyes and smiled. I read in a comment someone felt this drama crossed the line because of the age difference between FL and ML, but I don’t see it as such. FL was at an age considered grown. She was a female genius which usually signifies more maturity than her male counterparts, which I might add, was significantly portrayed in the maturity levels between FL and the biological brothers. Her character and personality had been cultivated by the warm, loving environment she had basically grown up in with “Little Uncle”. She was comfortable in their existing relationship and had no fear of saying exactly what she wanted and needed as they were functioning in a relationship of acceptance, loyalty, and trust. A 9 year age difference, especially with her maturity level, was nothing. I say, “Right on with the right on!” Woo hoo! Does it sound like I liked this film? I most certainly did😊

Amazing I was getting worried when she will end up with the little uncle as the wife 😊.The situation was complicated the ml couldn't confess his feelings to avoid scaring her and the fl couldn't cz she feared he won't see her that way.alcohol saved everything cz she confessed and kissed him.I'm glad the fl didn't end up with the previous family. Anyone who suffers this kind of treatment from his/her family will really find it difficult to make amends. The family took her back from the "uncle" and treated her badly. Why did they take her back, if that is how they will take care of her?
The contrast between the two treatments FL experienced has nothing to do with money but family affection (even just little). The maids of her biological family are better than the family. I applaud her open declaration to sever ties with them during her banquet, lest they claim glory for her achievement. The little uncle truly deserves the honor.

I really like this story line in every version. The one thing I wish is that they would put in a redemption arc, especially for the brothers. Dont have to be happy family but not totally cut off either. Also they could have done another love interest or no love interest at all. Kinda weird there is a significant age gap cause she was like 8-10 when they met and he was already an adult so it was like whoa. Some plotholes but overall I enjoyed it.
