  • Pasteurization makes sure milk is safe to drink (by killing any harmful bacteria) and also helps to prolong its shelf-life.
    Department of Dairy Technology, UVAS has its own small- scale and commercial dairy processing facility where milk is pasteurized for community service and for the production of various value-added dairy products. This milk is free of additives, preservatives and most qualified team of the Department of Dairy Technology ensures the best quality milk.
    Participants of the Capacity Building Project are also being facilitated at the Dairy Processing Plant of UVAS by providing hands-on Dairy production practices and managaing Dairy supply chain.
