Great video, this has been very helpful to me as the owner of a new X738 with auto-connect. I followed the procedure in this video to remove the mower deck. Then disconnected the auto-connect drive shaft from the tractor and hung it into the U-shaped bracket. But then I found it very difficult to raise the lift-linkage high enough to be able to latch it with the storage hook. Finally I used the hydraulics to lift the lift-linkage all the way up and was then able to latch it in the up position with the storage hook. Two questions: 1. Should I need to use the hydraulics to raise the lift-linkage? It looks so easy in the video and the video does not mention using the hydraulics to raise it. It looks like you can just push it up manually. 2. Once the lift-linkage is latched in its up position, does the hydraulic connection to the lift-linkage need to be 'shut off' in some way? Or will the hydraulic connection to the snowblower simply override the connection to the lift-linkage? Thank you.
sorry to be off topic but does any of you know a way to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any help you can give me!
@Finn Alberto I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Where is the valve that needs to be closed? Can you provide a screen shot or otherwise explain which valve needs to be closed and how to close it? Thank you.
@@tedhill323 - I realize Im 6. years late to the party, but it might help someone, the valve is under the piece where the hydro's plug in, a bit further under. It's a thumb wheel that turns open & closed..
Not necessarily I have the x734 awd and I couldn't for the life of me find a video of the type of pto I specifically had. This is also a 2023. Turns out they used the pto setup from their 2 wheel drive model. Has to be fed through the front and then has certain lock in positions. Was easier than the older Deere we had. They also don't explain that when trying to get the pto connection for the mower deck it kinda weird. The first few times trying to get the pto shaft into its holder was a learning experience.
This was helpful - thank you for an easy to follow set of instructions
Great video ...
Thanks

@Finn Alberto it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
@Frank Aldo Happy to help =)
Do you need to close the valve so the deck arms don't try to lower when you lower the blower
+ncc1701e4 Yes the valve will need to be closed in order to keep the arms from lowering.
Where's the valve

I just bought a new x738, is this the same steps on a new one?
