I would definitely ditch the spare just because of the size difference and you have two spares on a dually if you're going with the mentality of just getting off the road anyway
Love what u said about taking your time with work! 👌🏻 I’m a carpenter and I get so sick of hearing people brag how fast other guys build things. And it usually looks like shit
Even though there is a quality in quantity in and of itself, true quality comes from craftsmanship and completing a job properly. If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing correctly.
Good job on the steps As far as the creeper goes remove the head rest and cut a piece of wood like 3/4 “ plywood or as high as you need I did that with my MAC tool body formed creeper and feels much better.
I just got done installing a viair kit with a 2.5 gallon tank. I put the entire setup between the bed side and framerail in front of rear tire. I can send you a video if you want
in reguards to the spare tire. You have such a following that we would be able to assist you almost every where you might be. But side note.... with the air tank relocate...im thinking train horn....
Ditch the spare...was in the same kind of situation actually had to use the spare.( it was a smaller size too) messed up the front running gear and spent a bunch of money fixing that lol
I’m not the biggest Ram fan but I have to admit that particular Ram looks good. I’t a Ram that I’d actually drive. I’d have to add fender flairs as those wheels sticking out past the fenders are illegal in my state and I really wouldn’t want to be responsible for damaging someone’s vehicle by throwing debris into the open air. Willing to bet 2 of those thin longer air tanks similar to those found on the twin tank air compressors would fit somewhere else so you can keep you spare tire. I’m like you, I like to take a little extra time to make things look very nice as well as make sure it’s 100%. I would have probably figured out how to wire it up without have to use the OBII port which they did to make the install easier.
and i personally do everything i can to keep the spare even though all of my trucks have oversize tires like you said just as. incase i need to get off the road situation much rather have it vs not having
if there isn’t any room under the truck between frame rails, gas tank etc i’d put it in front of the wheel tub in the bed. then you can still keep a spare on hand
Just get a full 7th wheel, then transfer it to whatever trailer you're towing, much easier. I tow daily, an it always makes sense to just leave it on the trailer.
Oh man those steps fit perfectly. Cant even tell they are there. Man I love that truck. On ceramic coating. What do you do in 4-5 years when it starts to solidify and flake? It's been around long enough now that were seeing tons of people having issues with it when it starts to expire.
Maybe pick up a smaller diameter little longer of a tank so the volume is the same just a different size. Still can fit on a frame rail, then attempt to squeeze your giant spare in the stock location 🤷🏻♂️
i know you’ve said it in the passed and i just can’t remember, is this truck an HO truck or a 68 truck? and i remember you ordered it new, just curious why you didn’t order it as a G56 being that you (me too) love manuals so much
Are you going to end up doing a dedicated sled truck or are you gonna keep converting the 05 I don't think that would be a good idea to do you should probably just go on a whole truck i think you've got a couple of them sitting around you can pick one people do prefer the duly😄

You definitely need a vyper creeper. Little more expensive but super nice and has an awesome neck adjustment
Even though there is a quality in quantity in and of itself, true quality comes from craftsmanship and completing a job properly. If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing correctly.
I would say to mount it in front of the rear wheel, between the bed and the frame rail. Generally on most trucks, there’s a lot of open space their
Good job on the steps

Now that the spare is out of the way, air horns baby
I had to do a few “hop up and downs” on my passenger side one for it to clear my pinchweld lol 😂

I moved my air tank to the place where the def tank was it worked great
You guys should do a update on the single cab short bed race truck
in reguards to the spare tire. You have such a following that we would be able to assist you almost every where you might be. But side note.... with the air tank relocate...im thinking train horn....
I think it's time we get another garage update/tour of all the vehicles and projects
I have these on my 17, its factory ride height but it's on 35's and these steps make a difference.
Ditch the spare...was in the same kind of situation actually had to use the spare.( it was a smaller size too) messed up the front running gear and spent a bunch of money fixing that lol
Hope u got the dual motr per side. Gonna need it for the winter months

Do a horn blasters kit. And tie the airbags into it
Haha Greg said he's waiting for a massive package. Gitty
and i personally do everything i can to keep the spare even though all of my trucks have oversize tires like you said just as. incase i need to get off the road situation much rather have it vs not having
Like that is sick but magnum just thought of it see what u think of it have good week you guys

What about just doing a swing out carrier but fab it yourself to swing down in conjunction with the tailgate
Or a tire gate tailgate
Hi greg love the videos i have a question las saturday y brake the gearshift braket on my 2016 Cummins do yo experience somthing like that
Hey bud nice work hey new word for ya magnum like dodge magnum like that is magnum

Get a universal longer skinny tank to fit along the frame.
Would be nice to see where you put the module for the steps.
Soooooo, what’s with the M5 (550?) in the background? Btw, i have the amp steps on my truck and its a must have. Nice install.
Dam you must be a rich to all the vehicle's plus a semi and the big shops must be nice
Looks great!! 🔥🔥
Why didn't you move it down that side of the frame to the front part of the bed?
Also why not get like a yellow top or XS Battery for ur truck
We need an update on Good Buddy Mark & No Boost!
Beautiful rig!
Hola amigo cómo estás saludos acá de Austin tx Freddy Delgado ánimo nice video
Why not mount the tank in the bed of the truck behind the cab and keep a spare tire of your choice under the bed? Just a thought
Great video😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 14:26
Is the drag truck on the dyno

Hey Greg, I know you probably busy, but you have done truck pulls but what about tractor pulls? Lot of hp on them
Have you thought about doing a gear reduction on the dually to woke it back up? 4.30 gears or 4.56. Those 37s are gonna work that 68rfe good
Its a 6spd manual
The dually is auto…
It has 4.10 gears
I have 35x14.50x22 and I ditched my spare on my 2500
I would "relocate" the def tank to the bed and mount the air tank where it was
Truck is deleted so it doesn't use def anymore so he could just get rid of the tank
The give away truck is one of the best ones yet!
Can we please get a update on the Pre Runner style 3rd gen?!
Motec in Diesel 😳 thats new for me
Its kinda late butt couldnt you go to an air ride supplier and got maybe 2 smaller air tanks and put them in the same area? and then keep the spare.
I think it’s time get some train horns with the air tanks and air compressor, and mount them all where the spare tire holder is at👀
@greg_alberalla i hate it when people exit the cabin using my seat bolster as a sliding board. Nails on a chalk board to me!!
What shoes is Greg wearing
Did I miss a video or is the BMW in the shop with a table full of parts in front of it a teaser to another project?
money well spent
You should see if you can find a Skinner tank... That can fit between... Or maybe Michael has a better idea... With his level 4 skills 😂
Might as well add some train horns lol with more capacity for air lol
i know you’ve said it in the passed and i just can’t remember, is this truck an HO truck or a 68 truck? and i remember you ordered it new, just curious why you didn’t order it as a G56 being that you (me too) love manuals so much
It’s a 68 truck, not 100% sure on why not a g56 tho, he did the 68 because of being able to build the trans I believe
Loose spare move tank and ad a train horn using factory lift at same time
The give away truck could use a set 😅 Im kind of short at 5 foot 6 lol
Put the air tank in the location of the d.e.f tank
What am I waiting for in the give away, hmmmm, can you ship a truck and trailer to New Zealand lol.
Does anyone else want an update on the current inventory of trucks or is it just me lol
Those steps are nice…. Old man…😏
Slow to go!!!!
"ill trade ya" hahahahaha
I’ve thought about doing it my self. But can’t see paying $1500+ for some steps lol
Are you still planning on doing sled Pole for the truck?
Are you going to end up doing a dedicated sled truck or are you gonna keep converting the 05 I don't think that would be a good idea to do you should probably just go on a whole truck i think you've got a couple of them sitting around you can pick one people do prefer the duly😄
Does Greg need a messaging creeper
And the BMW ?????????
Ditch the spare. You gotta pay to play
First🤙🇺🇸
Umh 3rd
Are we just gonna not talk about the 335d?
First
LOL
Never be ashamed to be anal about your work
Those steps are pretty useless in the rust belt. They don't last to long.
