I can tell you as a recent owner of a Peugeot 508,
I'm really impressed by what this car offers,
It beats all of the other cars in its class,
And i have owned pretty much all of them over the years...
Steering information through the steering wheel? Grip levels in the corners? What would you say about 508? Can you name a car in the class thats worse/better handling? Thanks
Fifth Gear is a joke... Compares it to a mondeo in build quality... sure, sure... Peugeot nailed this one!
So basically Peugeot has done what they set out to do.
Peugeot have never really tried to compete with the germans in the sedan market when it comes to sport and dynamics.
Personally i love the comfort and suspension in these cars, its kinda spooky how smoothly it takes corners :P
Peugeot is like French version of Mazda. They don't compete with anyone, they just create things that they think would be best for their consumers

Cars interiors are made out of plastic , so what is the problem. Or is the Mondeo's interior made out of wood? =))))

I don't know, British reviewers are brainwashed by the German brands. I don't get it either. The French make better cars in my opinion, and I work on cars in and out every day

Camera quality is bad even for 2010
I have one of the face lifted versions and i love it. Much more than I loved my 2012 passat!!
Facelifted versions look so good ! Especially in tourer version !

508 is better and nicer car than drab Passat or plastic Mondeo. What I really hate are these stupid comments about residual value.

Watching this in 2023 I can just say they were pretty wrong favoring Ford Mondeo over Peugeo. 508 is like your favorite pair of sneakers. Its just no brainier, excellent car.

Brand new model? The insignia is on the hood and not the grill, meaning the model is at best a 2014 or before.
