Words do not do justice for the feelings I felt when discovering how you and I both immediately thought of our dear Twelve when seeing the spoon. That warmed the heart something fierce, Jess.
For those who dislike the fact that some loose ends remain untied, let us remember that Stephen Moffat let the "Silence will fall" thread run through S5 and well into S6.
Honestly, Ruby has become one of my absolute favorite companions. Brave, eccentric, caring, and inquisitive. It's such a shame that Millie couldn't continue, because she absolutely killed it and i really hope we get to see Ruby come back in the future. Loved the wrap up to the season, loved the doctor's evisceral emotions throughout the last few episodes, and loved the friendship between Ruby and the Doctor. Pure, crazy, unpredictable and absolutely beautiful fun. Ncuti is absolutely killing it.
To be fair, when I saw the whistle, I thought he was going to call K9 too. Would of been great if he was the only companion left and it became Sutekh Dog vs K9.
"Maybe one day I'll see my granddaughter again. I'll definitely see you again Ruby because you changed my life" Translation, my granddaughter didn't do shit for me! Lol.
Shes just a normal mum who dresses like a sith and whose timeliness keep changing and who dramtically points to no one and whose kids can make snow and have a special secret song that the god of music fears
I don't know how pointing to a road sign translates to naming a child unless there was a nun leaning out the window yelling "Hey you what do we call this baby?"
I like Ruby just being a human and her mom being just a regular person too; it's kinda like what I felt with Rey in Star Wars after TLJ (except that doesn't quite pan out the same obviously). I feel conflicted though about how it was dealt with... like the POINTING. Yes, quite silly lol.
Kate's death was the moment all the stakes went to zero for me. Especially when it was followed in quick succession by Carla, Cherrie and the rest of the world. Because I knew it would be reversed.
Your comments made me lol a lot on this one. "This is no time to be checking your credit score, girl." "... But first, the tea." "That's the most ominous way to name someone." 😂😂😂😂
I love how the dust really shows what "Pyramids of Mars" can mostly only tell. Total Universal destruction. Sutekh's total ego and need to 'know' everything being his undoing is also great, one of my favourite villain tropes.

“Rose, this is no time to be checking your credit score girl” 😂😂😂

I think we can all agree this whole "8 episodes as an entire season" trend with streaming services isn't nearly enough
"I'm gonna bring death ☠ and destruction 🤯 and everything will cease to exist ❌... but first, I need the tea 😘💅" Jess this made me CACKLE maniacally!!

Mel's emotions regarding the coat were also genuine to the actress.

The mom named ruby by pointing made no sense

In Susan Triad's case, I think it makes more sense for Kate to offer Susan Triad's company a contract, rather than offering Triad herself a job
The Doctor finally gets to use a fire extinguisher for its intended use. 😁
Love Kate's callback to The Giggle at
I LOLed at "someone's forgetting the cactus again" 🤣🤣🤣
