I learned Quran Majeed with tajweed at the age of 57...

Thank you for yours and the foundation efforts.
While we do our best to improve ourselves as much as we can. But I think at the same time it is most important that our young children should be taught correctly to read Quran with all the right way as well as to learn and understand Arabic in a proper manner. The teacher should ideally be an Arab scholar when teaching. For the grown ups and elderly is the habit they have acquired over long time. Alsoo they were not taught properly not reading Quran and learning Arabic but many other basic Islamic knowledge. So it is very important that the teacher to be chosen very carefully.
In addition Urdu language has wronly led to express the Arabic pronunciation. All these things take time to plan and execute them. Ideally in Pakistan a consensus Quran/Arabic syllabus should be introduced by the main academic authority. The important thing is to understand the basic Arabic information and to continue to progress with it throughout your life time. May Allah swt help us to read Quran in a correct manner, to comprehend it and to implement in our day to day life. AMEEN
