they do have really good chemistry✨ what i appreciate the most from this drama is the casting and the costume. For the casting, not only the main role but almost all of the cast perform their role perfectly even if they're just a cameo or side character. For the costume, i respect the team for choosing "colorful" costume with quite unusual style, chinese costume drama nowadays tends to use "bland" costume. Wen Kexing's costume is the best tho, the pink one hmm… noice~🌸 it's a risky color for men hanfu but fortunately Gong Jun can pull it off well, he looks stunning💖(ӦｖӦ｡)

Nah, the part at the end was juicy af, actually: Wen Kexing put his own hairpin in Zhou Zishu's hair - in their culture, gifting a hairpin to someone was making clear you're courting them with the intent of marrying them. It's really symbolic.
