@Elias Harrison keep at it bro I just started skating a couple weeks ago thanks to my only friend I’ve made in Colorado so far after moving, I’m just starting to get an Ollie down while I’ve got the back wheel in a crack still can’t pop the board right outta it but I’m working on it

I honestly tried shuvits with trainers on, and the rubber on the wheels actually kinda restricts the flick of it. I would very much like to see his progress in skateboarding. I think braile should take him in like he's a actual skater. I think it would be cool to see how he changes his confidence in going through out his day. I can tell by the way he moves he is not a very social person. Anyway just teach this kid to skate.
I love the way you are patient with anyone that tries a trick and does not get it, like at any skate park you will help anyone and you will belive in them till they land it. BIG THUMBS UP
I know that's somewhat necessary to know but. Aren't you a human that you'll use your dominant or preferable hands/foot on everything?? Coz Ill do that. That's where Im most comfortable. Js.
Do you believe that people are inherently one or the other, and its not just whichever one you started off doing (i.e. pure chance)? Is that widely accepted/proven, or just a hunch?
Hey Guys, I appreciate Braille trying to get more people to continue skating after getting a board for the first time. I am 45 and starting bc my sons are 11 & 9 and starting and I ordered these skater trainers for us yesterday. I figure I can put in the same work they put in, especially since I will driving them to our local sk8 park. :) Thanks for your leadership !
He did land 1st shove-it in about 5 minutes. Yea, these trainers might be a help. It can help build confidence. I like it. He has to take the trainers home to be of real benefit though. Use them for a month or 2, every so often.
I'm thirteen and before, I watched your vids like 4 years ago and I wanted to learn how to skate board. I was impatient and think i was trying to do an Ollie right away instead of getting confident. Im gonna try again. This time im gonna take it slower and learn little tricks and gain confidence on the board. My friends asked before if we should learn. I think doing it with other beginners can help gain that confidence. I also really like that energy and think i will use that with my friends and any skater i meet. Your always positive and even learning just a little thing you are so positive and cheer people up. Thanks for getting me back into skate boarding. I really want to learn and i think you can do anything u put the time and effort into. My dad said when i was learning to bunny hop a bike "everyone wants to be cool but, no one wants to put in the effort" I think this also means that if you put in the effort you can learn anything. Again thanks for giving me confidence and positive energy to start skateboarding again. See you when i can ollie 😂
Akira Kush What? Having pads doesn't mean you worry about falling, having pads is knowing that you will evetually fall and when you do you wont get messed up. Pad is always a good idea.
Man, I just recently learned how to do this. Took way longer than an hour, I punched some bushes and the first time I landed it I ran around my house. Either those trainers really do work or you're an awesome teacher, or both. But I'm amazed that his board never went sideways or upside down. Awesome vid.
I'm getting my first skateboard and some skater trainers in a couple days from Amazon, wish me luck. Thanks to Braille, I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to learn to Ollie in a week tops and then start learning more tricks. I'm so excited!
The first problem is that his body isn't athletic and is stiff and he moves awkward he first needs the work on jumping on to the board for balance, balance is key
outdoor boys yeah that stiffness can get you a broken wrist quick. But yeah I'm kinda with you but to me the most important thing also would be having confidence in what you are doing, makes it more fun too
I would love to skateboard. I wouldn't even know where to start. Where I live there isn't even a skate shop, because they're trying to cut down on skaters lol! Also I'm from the UK. Not that many skaters around that much anymore. So I really wanna do it so people can get out there on there boards again
order a complete from CSS skateboards. or build your own to make it fully custom and they way you want it. you'll need a deck, trucks, (riser pads maybe) bearings, wheels, hardware, and grip tape if it isnt already included on your deck.
im from uk and i went to nottingham for my board, which was like an hour away! maybe ask your parents for your birthday if you can go to a skateshop to get a skateboard
I felt a confidence boost just watching this kid go so quickly from trainers to riding like that. I can't wait until I get my first board which will likely be a long board since i'm not looking to do tricks but just to cruise around town...

Matías Rodríguez If you learn with a camera in you face, you must expect critics. Even more if you are an annoying white snowflake.
you are annoying. The kid is learning, everyone has his own learning curve.
actually I do know the kid and when he popped up in my sub feed in almost cried
xDakem dude, stfu, he is annoying because you watched a video of him not being good at skating, and you call him a snowflake, really?
Hispanic Humor I cant even Ollie so I understand not being good
Aaron looks like a very nice person to teach you basics. He didn´t just point all the things that the kid is doing wrong. but instead he cheers him for the progress in the slow process. THANK YOU AARON FROM CHILE FOR TEACHING ME THE BASICS!
I would very much like to see his progress in skateboarding. I think braile should take him in like he's a actual skater. I think it would be cool to see how he changes his confidence in going through out his day. I can tell by the way he moves he is not a very social person. Anyway just teach this kid to skate.
Anthony Keagle yeah boyyy

I love the way you are patient with anyone that tries a trick and does not get it, like at any skate park you will help anyone and you will belive in them till they land it. BIG THUMBS UP
now you just need a thrasher shirt
And a pair of vans because Nike's won't work
4LP yep
Lol true
4LP fucking normies REEEEEEEEEE
poser
this genuinely makes me so happy. I love his attitude when learning :)
he could be regular and you've made him ride goofy this whole time
Haha.
I know that's somewhat necessary to know but. Aren't you a human that you'll use your dominant or preferable hands/foot on everything??
Coz Ill do that. That's where Im most comfortable.
Js.
I ride goofy
tbh when he was riding it looked like it seemed more natural to him. idk tho i’m a beginner lmao

So imature

Made you look
Caught me slippin smh
DO SKATER TRAINERS REALLY WORK?
That's a good question.
Yes...
Yea it worked first TRYYYYYYY
You win
I think everyone should have to bust ass as much as everyone else did as a beginner
Ahaha
I'm going to pick up a board this week and start thanks for being awesome Braille and inspiring me to learn something new :D
Keona bazala good luuuuuuck (in the *first try* tone)
9:04 when he missed the fist bump, i felt that 😂💀
lol same
anyone else think it's much safer to not use pads at all and instead learn how to fall instead of worrying?
I do
While you learn to fall use the pads maybe?
Akira Kush What? Having pads doesn't mean you worry about falling, having pads is knowing that you will evetually fall and when you do you wont get messed up. Pad is always a good idea.
use pads when you first start start dropping in
Also good if you have a leak
kid integrates the concepts quickly, and is succinct of his recall of the main ideas. Well done, thanks for the share!

If I’m unable to get skate trainers, is practicing on grass still an effective way to learn?
rikoshea O'Shea
Yeah. I used to do that way back when i started
Michael Jimenez
Okay thanks 👍
Carpets are good too.
You wont have good pop tough
You will shit on your bearings like that
i think the smartest thing some guy at a skate park told me was to just tighten my wheels all the way
Blockybodyguard does it work? I did it with mine, and it just made them turn a little less
Jason Sammis yea cuz if u make them real tight the wheels won’t move
Blockybodyguard smart dude
but carving turns?
You just saved me twenty bucks
Man, I just recently learned how to do this. Took way longer than an hour, I punched some bushes and the first time I landed it I ran around my house. Either those trainers really do work or you're an awesome teacher, or both. But I'm amazed that his board never went sideways or upside down. Awesome vid.
What is Lil Xan doing here?
What time is he there
rccixv lmao
Ahaha
Im Uglyy the guy in the green shirt looks like him lmao he's not actually in the video
Lydia Bennett that’s the point smh
And the whole time I’ve been practicing on the grass when these things existed
yea but grass is free
the grass is free tho
and if u fall on grass it won’t hurt but these trainers would make u hurt when u fall on concrete
I had to watch the entire thing, I was hypnotized.
I'm getting my first skateboard and some skater trainers in a couple days from Amazon, wish me luck. Thanks to Braille, I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to learn to Ollie in a week tops and then start learning more tricks. I'm so excited!
Or ya know instead of buying 25$ pieces of rubber you can take your wheels off smh.
true
Liam J192 yeah but you’ll fuck up your trucks and you can’t really get pop on a flat board either
@@NotoriousNFM woosh
A S M R TheSoundofSilence no
You know the board for the Tony Hawk Wii game? I wonder if you can use that?
Nice kid, I like his hair.
holy sjit ur dutch
Make a series teaching one person
Why does he look like an older version of the kid from mid90s
Tom Studios sunburn!!!
J4MBA JUICE my thought exactly
sunbuuuuurn
yes I wrote this in Fuckshit s voice
The first problem is that his body isn't athletic and is stiff and he moves awkward he first needs the work on jumping on to the board for balance, balance is key
outdoor boys yeah that stiffness can get you a broken wrist quick. But yeah I'm kinda with you but to me the most important thing also would be having confidence in what you are doing, makes it more fun too
I mean he doesn't have to be athletic but yes he does need balance an he is way to stiff
J Thorsson did you see when he would bend down and put the board on the ground? I was dying
he doesnt need an athletic body, he just needs to ride a lot and gain more confidence on the board.

I would like to buy skater trainers because they eliminate the fear of falling and cracking my head 😀
Luis Bracamontes To eliminate that fear you can just wear a helmet
you're eventually going to have to face the music someday. and you're eventually going to get thrashed someday as well, unfortunately
you might as well just give up with that attitude dude
Timmy Hornbuckle but see I did give up
Never be afraid to fall on a skateboard. If you are wear a helmet, pads, etc. and just take the heat
I would love to skateboard. I wouldn't even know where to start. Where I live there isn't even a skate shop, because they're trying to cut down on skaters lol! Also I'm from the UK. Not that many skaters around that much anymore. So I really wanna do it so people can get out there on there boards again
You can order a board of brailles website and just watch there videos that are made for beginners.
order a complete from CSS skateboards. or build your own to make it fully custom and they way you want it. you'll need a deck, trucks, (riser pads maybe) bearings, wheels, hardware, and grip tape if it isnt already included on your deck.
im from uk and i went to nottingham for my board, which was like an hour away! maybe ask your parents for your birthday if you can go to a skateshop to get a skateboard
just buy a board from a company and learn to ride on tough road
Watch skateboarding made simple
I felt a confidence boost just watching this kid go so quickly from trainers to riding like that. I can't wait until I get my first board which will likely be a long board since i'm not looking to do tricks but just to cruise around town...
7:41 is the single greatest trick to be performed on the Braille Channel
You know he’s a beginner by the way he sets down his board.
Fr
9:30 when he turns the board😂
Okay and? Even you did once, none of y’all can’t talk.
@@01ivi33 Did I say I was insulting him? I was just pointing out something that alluded me to the fact that he was a beginner skateboarder. Also, please use correct grammar next time. It's hard to talk with hillbillies on the internet.
@@khybermcfarland6225 the second thing he said was he had never skated before, don't know how that wasn't what told you he was a beginner.
