Welcome back to another episode where man and machine attempt to do battle with Haulover Inlet!
This episode we are back home at Haulover Inlet. Who will take the win this week between Haulover Inlet and the Boats?

That little boat, life jackets and fun. That’s a win.
They are all over the lake my TriToon is on, theyre a TON of fun
they are a fun boat, they came in 155, 215, 255 motors and may even have some 255+ motors now. They are quick and basically a floating hot tub, they can take on a lot of water and pump in out as seen on the side with the bilge. Crew was prepared for sure. They are made to be a 4 seater jet ski.

@@hectorheck1353 its hard to sink but im sure its possible :) ... its also a very wet ride since the front dips down ... they did it to increase driver visiblity to the front but its hell with any sort of wave. Thats why the guy kept the throttle up... the took a few serious hits for sure.
We have the 215hp model and you need to keep things strapped down if water is rough (coolers, bags etc) anything on the outside. But if you treat it like a jet ski its a lot of fun and is a good ride to tow with almost any vehicle.

@@dylanashley246 They don't make them anymore, did until 2012. But you can get really nice used ones for like 15-20K. Very reliable to, its INSANE how they handle on smooth water

First boat: Three dads who have been playing safely on the water with the family all day drop the kids w/ the wives and decide to finish out the day whooping haulovers @ss. 👍
This restores my faith in Florida sailors! The speedster crew respect the sea, want to have fun, and know it could go wrong. With a PFD in your water temperature you float long enough for rescue, AND people can see you. As a sometimes scuba boat captain, spotting a human head in a rough sea with sun glint isn't always possible - spotting a bright fluorescent object usually is.
Now we just need to educate the rest of the fleet...

Was wondering if we would ever see a "sweep" in the series. Loved seeing the boats sweep Haulover, bet it will come back with a vengeance in the next series though.

These things are NUTS, they drive exactly like a giant jet ski, I had one for a while. You could just jam t he wheel over at 50 and they'll just take it

that first clip is the reason why I didn't buy a small jet boat when I had the chance. I have a throttle problem and knew at some point I'd be ahead of my skill curve. My 2 stroke outboard Fish & Ski does plenty for me and fits more people.
Enjoy these BVH videos. I have a suggestion, do some with all of the boats either coming in or going out.
OH AND Seen that Sea Do boat doing that before. Though this time they "Looked more Professional" at it....
Watching those guys in the Sea Doo...........that's an excellent way to destroy your back........and I'm not even kidding. That thing must have some crazy plush seats. Makes my back hurt just to watch those incredible slams.

That SeaDoo Speedster confirms my suspicions that the typical Australian "tinnie" would likely fare pretty well at Haulover. They're as basic as you can get, usually made of tin (hence the name) and are as light as all hell, I once saw one that someone had thrown the guts from a jetski in it and I really wanna see that take on Haulover.
The guys in the Speedster are gonna need some Aleve when they get back.

Nice to see life jackets actually. Water is one place I don’t mess around. I’ve lost young family members to drowning through unexpected circumstances they had no control over.
I used to have Seedoo 150 and took it out for long trips on the Baltic sea. Great boat. Life jackets are standard in Sweden, nobody would go without.
These vids are a YT highlight... major boat envy though.

well see how the waves are coming in and the way the ships take the waves with that angle it's just made easy for them
Captain in the speedster has some experience. Most after plopping down like that would just sit and recovery but he hammered down as soon as they hit. Gotta in those waters.
I don't remember seeing them in the past, but it would be fun to see a best/worst of the year. Stuffs, sends, etc

A lot of it depends on the wave incidence. Many things effect that, wind speed and currents/tides and water depth.
Thats how you do it in that speedster!And a big win seeing people wear life jackets!

that seadoo captain is a pro, although jet boat can change course and accelerate super fast still he pick the line and hit the waves in a slight angle manage the throttle perfectly

It was so rough out that only the best of the best went out. You can tell because they all knew to wear their PFD. That and you probably edited all the dumb one for us. Kudos to all the captains.
The owner of that SEAVEE had a fantastic trim set with the correct amount of power and was smooth! 👏👏👏

I used to own a Seadoo Speedster 150 and it was such a lot of fun. It was green and we called it Kermit. Shame they stopped making them.

I had a 15 foot Sea-Doo supercharged and they do, do 60 miles an hour ! ! !
FYI those seadoo’s are MADE for that kind of wave jumping abuse. Yes, you can bend the engine mounts just like in a pwc but cheap to fix.
I’m at 1:50 and I feel even if the little boat submarines they should still get a win. It’s like they are daring the inlet to mess with them.
Must have been a slow day at the inlet to feature the Sea Doo more than once.
