Some tips for cheap and easy food and macros + nutrients for weight loss: -3 liters of skimmed milk is very cheap, low calorie and enough (extremely high quality casein) protein and carbs for most people for the entire day, only caveat is that you need to get 20-30g fat people need elsewhere, and it has 0 fiber. Depending what milk you have available, kcal can change. My skimmed milk is 340kcal 35g protein 50g carbs. 1020kcal for 105g protein. -Buying 500g/1lbs package of frozen veggies for extremely cheap, using a wand blender to mush it in a pot, and you get a hilariously easy veggie soup for 36kcal/100g so 180kcal for the entire pot of soup, 1-3l of water so 1.5-3.5kg of soup for only 36kcal, 21.7kcal & 15.5kcal per 300g bowl eaten for 1.5l, 2.5l & 3.5l soup respectively. gives you nutrients and fiber for barely any calories. Remember to season it. I usually go with herb salt & some chili powder to get a slightly spicy veggie soup I can inhale easily. NOTE: If your diet has 0 or very low fiber intake or barely any carbs, introducing fiber and carbs will increase your weight, but it is all waterweight. 1g carbs holds onto 4g water. Fiber causes your stool in your intestines to bulk up and absorb water, causing your poop to weigh more while inside you, going from barely any fiber to a significant amount can increase weight by up to 1kg. I suggest anyone trying to build muscle or lose fat to use creatine. It helps you maintain more muscle than you woul otherwise while in a calorie deficit, and nets you up to 4lbs of muscle per year when trying to build muscle. Disclaimer: Creatine absorbs water into your muscles, making you gain up to 1kg of water weight, but it doesn't make you look bloated, as it's causing your muscles to enlarge from being filled with water, not your subcutaneous tissue. (up to 70% of people respond to creatine, if your weight doesn't change at all and you don't feel any increases in energy or endurance in exercise, you might be a non-responder, which in most cases means that your body already has enough creatine)
Completely true, I went from 190lbs to 168lbs by eating 2 meals a day, mainly plant based with some meat and worked out on about 4 days a week, salads with grilled chicken is gas ⛽️
Oh also the "diet" change is something that I word in my own mind as a lifestyle change. Takes the stigma of temporary change out and means I am making a positive change for myself! Loved the video and look forward to watching more in my spare time.
Hi I really like listening to life advice videos like this never knew I needed them until I found them, what made you want to do videos like this by any chance?
For me personally, writing what I need to do in a list at the start of every day was very useful. I used to plan my day hour by hour, giving me a couple hours to chill, but still having lots of productive things such as exercise, study and prayer. It is very effective for some, give it a try 👍
Learning how to cook helps alot, even if it's just eggs for breakfast
Ur videos motivate me to get my life together. I was so lazy before, now I’m actually taking the proper steps. Thanks!
That’s awesome to hear! Glad you’re getting things done!
