the guardian got a skill issue (edit after i beated him he got a skull issue) i literaly almost dodged every of his attacks and beated him with a wooden bat
This game hates me. The island I spawned on had a crocodile chilling right next to me and chunked me to 10 hp so I had to reset. When I got to the guardian he had a pet croc waiting for me. Seriously 😭I completed it after rejoining a few times.

You don't spawn in with a map, you have to craft it. Craft a crafting bench, craft a rope, then craft map.

I got so lucky that the guardian spawned beneath the map, i could still hit it but it couldnt hit me lol
