It's actually pretty decent!! We're getting one of these in Perth, Western Australia in a couple of years. I think it's better than fighting for priority in crowded tourist spots, although where I live in Mandurah there is plenty of waves - when it's working!
Does the wave have a difficult takeoff? I see a lot of the surfers are doing pretty good once they are up and riding but a lot of them are struggling with the takeoff..

closer to the wall the steeper the take off. Best to give at least 1.5m away from the wall and angle the take off as it bottoms out quick
