Goliath was an astonishing figure who brought out the incredible strength required to move in such heavy armour, talkless of fighting. The coat of mail was made of interlocking bronze scales. This offered strong protection against the swords and spears of the era. Also, his legs were protected by bronze greaves. A bronze javelin was slung on his back. This emphasizes the essence of both offence and defence in his battle strategy.

Goliath was said to have been the runt in his family! Even though he was a “giant” he was on the smaller side when compared to his brothers & in the giant community.
