Once you have replaced the barrel on the rifle with the trigger, I would like to see the new barreled rifle go heads up against Erik's F-Class rifle on F-Class targets at 1000 yards. Thanks very much for sharing.
Replace the stock trigger with something like a trigger tech and leave the rest the same on that one and throw a barrel on the one with the really nice trigger... that way you still have a factory barreled action with a decent trigger against one you made a bunch of high end changes to. Love the series and great video as always keepem coming guys!!!
I loaded up on the 6.5 Needsmore Match ammo in preparation to load the 140gr. Bergers and the 139gr. Lapuas. Thanks for keeping the 6.5 Needsmore alive!
I watched this series and went out to build my own budget precision rifle Remington 783 with a Oryx chassis shoots under 3?4 with factory loads . nice shooter
Have really enjoyed this series. I have a rifle that is a shooter and probably the best shooter I have. It shoots so good I am hesitant to change anything. My other is a completely custom and it is a shooter too. But when I go from the custom to the stock I have checked the safety so many times because I thought it was still on. I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that.
I like the way he makes the excuses more consistent that's the key. Even though neither of them were going to say handloads made no difference in group size.
Series is great, love it all. Seeings how they are both snipers it would be fun to see them both do a 308 series like this or a build your own challenge and see what happens.
will not forget how when Jason 1st joined Eric and pulled out his rifle and told Erik it was a .308 and Erik went into a seizure, with cold-sweats and full blown breakdown.
Been watching a lot of your videos and you do make it all alot more logical for me with simple videos. What I would love to know is what criteria you use to legitimately call a flyer?
I shoot 6.5 creedmoor every weekend out to 500 -800 yards on a 10 inch plate with lots of wind and I personally haven’t had to make major adjustments for wind even when it’s super windy . The 130s -153s bullet weights buck the wind very well
You’ve done upgrades to both now. Chassis trigger, pin spring on one and chassis on the other. So. If barrel swap in one. Put a better trigger in the other. Maybe keep it behind the other in upgrades and see the performance per upgrade, be interesting to see if it out performs more in relation to and even being behind in upgrades.
I guess you based the load development just on powder charge test and then fine tuning with barrel tuner, right? Or did you go also through seating depth testing? Did you squeeze a bit more of accuracy with load development? Thanks.
I'm curious and maybe I'm wrong and maybe someone else would say this but, what about "don't chase the lands"? Except everytime someone shoots they're chasing the lands or adjusting for it.
I like that 130 vld in the 6.5cm. But it’s just too slow. Now I just push 120 Speer sp out of it far on hogs. Pretty good for a deer guy but let’s be honest there’s so much better ways to spend your time reaching out lol. It’s the “laser beater” hunting gun now. 6cm is all that cartridge should’ve been unless you’re hunting with it. Prc looks better obviously but I’ll stick with my 6.5-284. IMO of course… lol. Needs more is perfect lol
Question: I am looking to shoot at longer ranges and I have been sucking in information trying to learn from others about steps along the way, one person said that if a gun can't hold a .33MOA group it won't hold a 3/4MOA group at 600yrds. Is he correct?
MOA is linear. So whatever the gun shoots at 100yrds. We’ll use 1/3” or .333” @ 100) it will shoot the same in that multiple of 100. A 1/3MOA gun should still be 1/3MOA @ 600yrds. Except 1/3MOA @ 600 yards is not 1/3 of an inch. It is 2” because MOA/Mils are linear. not sure if that’s what you are asking, but your gun can shoot whatever it shoots and doesn’t have to be 1/3” MOA gun to shoot longer ranges. It can be a 2MOA gun but your targets would have to be at least 2 MOA targets to hit it with any sort of precision and consistency.
I have a friend who runs a gun shop here in Waynesboro Pennsylvania he was a long range shooter.... back in the day....he would make a great guest on your you tube channel. If you so choose get in touch with me..... Thanks, Paul Hallgren
I'm Assuming the handloads are just that basic handloads? There was no load develope or tune for each rifle right? I mean what rifle likes what bullet type best or powder and or seating depth? Only reason why I ask, is once you leave the factory load standard and start handloads you just opened up a can of worms the size of Montana. Just my opinion.
Is the Needsless Needsmore still shooting better? Hmmm.... Starting to sound like 2 guys with new Harleys. Rip the pipes off? New motor? New fuel system? Put the Needsless in the old stock and I'll buy it!
I liked my Tika 6.5 Creedmoor , it was a fun load development rabbit hole to go down. I've since bought a kelby 7x47 lapua and picked up a 6.5x284 shehane. Two more rabbit holes. Why am I a gun nut ? Was it part of GOD'S plan or did I fall off the back of the wagon ? I feel like Richard Dreyfus in Close Incounters of a Third Kind, where's that mountain ? Maybe we're suppose to take out aliens , zombies, and bigfoot and democrats when they show up, Armageddon. Idk
Are you still looking for a video editor and videographer? Would consider hiring a Canadian? Have plenty of experience been editing as hobby for the last 12 years (FCP, Sony Vegas, Adobe PremierPro) have worked in television as a volunteer producing weekly programs including camerawork, sound and editing. Big fan last 3 years, highly competitive skilled at IPSC/USPSA, Multigun and PRS. Canadian govt has already robbed me of $30,000 of firearms through recent prohibitions and confiscations through executive order, this month they finally went too far and prohibited all pistols, all semiauto rifles and shotguns and all large bore hunting/precision rifles, I will have nothing left by spring. I’m done with Canada, possible immigration to Texas or Arizona in near future.
I truly enjoy this series. Watching y'all shoot and learning from it and it's not costing me hundreds of dollars.
YET!

Now THAT would be interesting to see!
The final needsmore boss, Erik with an F Open rifle
I love this series. Fun to watch. Fun to watch Jason and Ethan go at it. Can't wait to see what the next project will be.
Good job Jason keeping those heel flat to the ground.
Big time shooting..! Well done, guys.
Jason is such a great addition to the channel!
Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please.

Really enjoy great content!! Thanks hope to see more
Good job Jason!
Great series!!

Great trace shots!
You just made my day!

Nice camera work catching the trace!
EYE RELIEF FOR DAYS
Very entertaining 👏
I like the way he makes the excuses more consistent that's the key. Even though neither of them were going to say handloads made no difference in group size.
Thats cool watching the trace
Great series and steel plate target but groups on an electronic target would be nice
All I know is that I wouldn't want to be the "bad guy" down range.
So much for Christmas lights; I am going shooting.

Man this went extremely well with my cafecito and concha lol
If I remember correctly. The non modified one shot better in the beginning. If so, make them the same again now and see if there is any difference.
Been watching a lot of your videos and you do make it all alot more logical for me with simple videos. What I would love to know is what criteria you use to legitimately call a flyer?
Lol. Love the shirts.
Looks as though you be having fun
Love It! So when you change the barrel, do you blueprint the action?
No
Give Jason a box of his favorite Federal Gold Premium ammo!!! :-)

That's a 2 MOA target you are shooting at. They are going for sub-MOA accuracy.
You can see the bullet and visual distortion from the shots on the right. That’s sick.
Wow! That amazing. You should shoot that for Bayou 1000 match tomorrow 👍🏻
😂
Great series! Which brake is on those rifles ? The Next gen or the PRS? Thanks 👍🏼
PRS
I guess you based the load development just on powder charge test and then fine tuning with barrel tuner, right? Or did you go also through seating depth testing? Did you squeeze a bit more of accuracy with load development? Thanks.
There both good shooters
I'm curious and maybe I'm wrong and maybe someone else would say this but, what about "don't chase the lands"? Except everytime someone shoots they're chasing the lands or adjusting for it.
What kind of bipod is on the most improved needmore?
What’s the difference from the ec tuner break and the next gen tuner break
Both of them men can shoot really good
Sooooo what is the point of the 2 rifles again?
I thought this might have been a comparison of build directions but now I'm confused?
Nice. #!!! 😊
Nice indeed, now let us see the accuracy results at a 1,000 like you did in the video before this one with factory ammo!
I like that 130 vld in the 6.5cm. But it’s just too slow. Now I just push 120 Speer sp out of it far on hogs. I was hoping for a direct comparison to the factory ammo. Meaning, shooting at a 1000 with ShotMarker
It was too windy for 1000
Small rifle primer or Large rifle primer Lapua brass?
Question: I am looking to shoot at longer ranges and I have been sucking in information trying to learn from others about steps along the way, one person said that if a gun can't hold a .33MOA group it won't hold a 3/4MOA group at 600yrds. Is he correct?

What are the factory Rifles ?
just remember, a round sitting in a hot chamber will soak up heat and alter the velocity.
The field mice are going to start getting nervous.
👍

Like to see 100 yard group and power charge

Watching them struggle with the wind made me laugh at dudes who claim they can shoot better than that with their own guns.
They did better with factory.ammo
Needs more 1, needs more 1.........how about switching that up to "Needs more" "Has more".
What is the size of the targets?

Not great shooting but close enough for government work
Is it me or do these two not like each other? Lol
So I'm the 666th person to like this vijayoh... that cant be good for me 😧
Not that hard...lol
my grandmother shoots better than those two.....the more crap you put into a rifle it is less accurate
