I'm sad I didn't get as big of an experience because I saw the bodies already due to them getting exposed when the tower falls. Still very unsettling.

You captured so many of the exact same feelings the DLC gave me playing through. A beautiful display of confusion, frustration, and utter terror of the Owlks, as should be.
The Echo of the Eye was the friend we made along the way.
And then there's me who literally decided the only thing wrong with those sattelite photos is Gabbro and couldn't find the entrance to the dlc without google.

The original version of Outer Wilds was built on the Unity engine. But then the owls made a new version on Source, so they could use VAC and kick hearthians using simulation cheats. He was playing on that second version.

There is a room in the lower lower parts of the station where you can see experiments on trying to enter the dimension. There one of the rooms has the solution of sleeping, but I think you need to access it from outside the station. But I remember that somewhere there was a hint that there was a hole in the station.
