I just played 104 hours of unicorn overlord and so far its one of the best most fun games ive played in recent years. Im a big fan of CRPGs so this was absolutely amazing, and its technically my first tactical rpg. I played FF tactics but didnt get much into it as a teenager, but i now have a huge love for tactical rpgs. Just bought tactics ogre reborn and fire emblem engage because i have a void that needs filling after finishing the game 😅
Skald actually has a very good story. I just started the final dungeon and can definitely recommend it if you like story driven RPGs and anything Lovecraftian.
I highly recommend Wantless, which is on that list. It's amazing, I'm 40 hours in and there will be many more to come. Never played a game that gives you so much freedom in crafting skills.
As per usual, many good games I have on my sights but also some gems that somehow had escaped me. On an unrelated note, I think the bookmarks after King Arthur stopped working, it'd be useful to have them for the whole video. Keep up the good work!
Songs of conquest is a bit low on this list considering how good it is and so is Capes. List is decent, most of these already on my wishlist and some I missed so glad I checked this out.
Some neat looking games here but still, nothing thats gonna scartch my FFT itch. One day there will be a game like FFT but with pretty 2.5 graphics. Some have come close but none of them have reached it.
@@TurnBasedLovers I mean i'd like to be excited for the game but the reviews are mixed and for a good reason. Its a mobile game badly ported for PC. Its always online, its got all the awful gacha bullshit going on. Were it a singleplayer non p2w gacha grab i would be interested in it. Sadly its just ruined by greed and mobile gaming standards.
What I'm looking for at the moment is a game like Deadfire or Pathfinder where you control a party of characters and have a lot of flexibility of how you can build each character (e.g. mutli-classing), but without much of a story. I normally do like story, but for now I just want a game with good tactical challenge and lots of character build flexibility. ... Any game suggestions other than the 2 Pillars games, the 2 Pathfinder games and BG3 (all of which I've already sunk hundreds of hours into).
king arthu seems complete nonsense... play that older King arthur game... wich reminds totalwar/warhammer games.. much better... i think its from year 2008

You know what I miss in all of these, a good story. But thanks for showcasing them in any event.
Indeed, I can relate a bit ☺️🤙

And good graphics haha all look horrible and Miasma Chronicles looks so much better.
I'm developing a game belonging to this genre and these videos of yours help me a lot with marketing, grazie! Ti meriti più iscritti.
Great to hear! :) Why don't you tell me about your game? Meet me on Twitter :) Ciaoooo
@@TurnBasedLovers Marcello non so se lo hai notato ma da più di 2 anni non si sa nulla di revolution: the spark....quel titolo mi ispirava un botto!!

Check out Sword of Covallaria
@@mmobilegaming9256 isn't that a gacha game? Also, doesn't it release today?
We are going to publish a review video tomorrow, about Sword of Convallaria

Try Fae Tactics if you haven’t. Good and deep story (more than it seems at first), beautiful graphics and very interesting and challenging gameplay.

previous Larian games, Divinity Original Sin I & II, for more "modern looking"
Gobs and Gods!!! Ohhh yeaaaaaaaah!
Indeed :)
Bought Gobs&Gods week ago - so fun game. Lake a Battle Brothers, but different.
Do you know of an alternative to Man or Vampire?
Anyway, thanks for the recommendation
mmmmmm Zombies :)
I loved Capes!
Yes Indeed :)
Merci pour la vidéo et merci aux commentaires
Grazie a te :)
Wait, there's no kriegsfront tactics?
No, because it's just a prologue. I decided not to add it yet. :)
So many fantasy ones lol.

I never buy games that are rpg or tactic games that only 4 party members squad sizes. That screams waste of money and time.
