Thanks so much. This really depends where/who you are purchasing from. Many orders over $1000 AUD are subject to 10% GST. Some suppliers can factor these costs into your initial order however so make sure to ask your supplier about this.
just keep in mind they deal in American dollars when converting to Australian $ , you’ll be in for a rude shock, your product becomes expensive, example- you pay a total of $720 for 100pcs of product add $350 shipping fees =$1070 us, convert to au =$1520 ,works out you now payed $15.20 per item . on eBay you will find same product selling for $19.99 free shipping, what am i doing so wrong?
Hi Samson, excellent video - love the run through of zik Analytics - just wondering, what level plan are you using for this video. Very interested in signing up, but don't know what level to invest at.
Thanks! I have an enterprise subscription. I recommend getting the trial of the enterprise subscription (which is still $1 / 7 days), then deciding what you will actually use over the week of the trial. For most eBay importers, starter will work fine & standard can be helpful for the 500 trending eBay items list. I don't really use the enterprise turbo scanner features often, so I cant really recommend it at this stage.
Hi Samson great vid 🔥. When finding suppliers on alibaba do u always look if they have a "verified" batch ? Also do u recommend using trade assurance to transfer funds to new suppliers?
Thanks for this video .What do you recommend to ship by sea or air from Alibaba and which the cheapest? And can you please explain about clearing costom in Australia .
Cheers, really depends on the order size - sea is cost-effective for large orders (generally at least 1/2 a pallet, for anything less use air). Clearing customs in Aus is easy for the products I import (small consumer electronics). GST can be handled with the supplier or paid upon arrival. I recommend getting the supplier to include any GST that may be due when making the order.
Hey, Another Great Video. I recently signed up with Zik. only the starter plan as I don't have the money to invest in a higher plan and wanted to see if it will work for me before I commit to a higher plan. I was wondering did you find it hard to start finding items that sell? I have found a few things that sounded amazing the profit it shows possible is great. But then when I go through to ali express or Alibaba it hasn't taken into account the postage to Australia and that pretty much eats into the profit possible. And then on eBay, the sellers seem to always offer free postage which means the rest of the profit would be gone. The top 500 searches which I can't access do you think it is worth the upgrade? Any tips are greatly appreciated 😄
Hi, thanks! My best recommendation is to try the higher level plan during the trial (same price) & then see what features you actually use in order to decide which plan to stick with. The 500 best eBay products is useful, but as I showed in this video, it is not necessary to find winning products. Hope this helps!
i’m trying to get into vintage shirts. I like that niche and I’ve noticed some eBay seller sell items for too little or cheap and I believe they are worth more in value so I buy them and try to resell them. your thoughts?
100% Possible & lucrative. Flipping newly listed / poorly listed vintage shirts from online marketplaces onto eBay. I have done this myself once or twice & it does work.
Hi, Bro If I want to order something on Alibaba.com, Is order will come to my home address? And after that I can list on ebay and if I get buyer, I hv to ship by myself? Or its like Amazon? Very helpful video. What about clearing customs in Australia for the items imported? Is there anything to be aware of?

Thanks! Yes I recommend using verified suppliers (this means Alibaba has inspected their warehouse), and definitely pay via trade assurance.
@@SamsonTV thanks Samson. I will keep that in mind the next time I order

Hi, yes you can ship to you home address & yes you ship directly to the buyer once the sale has been made.
Does this apply to Aliexpress as well?
Yes, although most Aliexpress suppliers will not have an MOQ as Aliexpress is not B2B.
@@SamsonTV B2B stands for?
❤️
Thanks!
