    Great interview so far. I’ve always heard about Bloods and Crips in Denver and Park Hill .. I want to check out his documentary. Dude is interesting, we’ll spoken and you can tell he lived it & matured out of it before he lost his life. These are the types of interviews we need

      @Javiii104 Cause I've been thru Denver a few times in my life and all I've ever seen is snow topped mountains and beautiful scenery. I generally get the feeling of wholesomeness in Denver, maybe some Coors drinking rednecks in my mind lol! I'm from Southside of Chicago and grew up in the gutters in the 90's with boarded up crack houses in my hood,20 story ratchet ass project buildings and gang members 20 deep on every other corner,hearing gun shots from my living room almost every day. Sorry no disrespect it takes a lot for me to envision Denver being that dangerous, this video opened my eyes though and the older I get and the more I travel I see that there's hoods in every major city.

    Also, MLK brother was found dead in a pool. MLK in my opinion didn't predict his death. He knew they was trying to kill him. It was a matter of time in his eyes.

      Could be that, or maybe he was just been refering to the change he wanted to see not beeing likely to happen in his lifetime (even if he lived to old age) But yeah that definitely doesn't seem like a prediction of his own death to me.

    • @Siegefya
      @Siegefya Год назад +3

      You could say the same sht about LA, or the bay, you ever been to LA or the bay area? Why is long beach so dangerous when the beautiful ocean is right there? Why is Oakland so dangerous when silicone valley is right there? Kind of ignorant thinking tbh. And it's not had, it's literally has ...still, unfortunately. I'm from Colorado Springs and it's gangs there as well, black and Mexican gangs. I got family in Denver who have been involved in that stuff, my grandfather was gonna play for the Broncos but he got into some trouble, I know a lot about what goes on there, granted it's not as bad as some other cities it's still too much bad, it's like a little microcosm of what goes on in places like like LA. Matter of fact, watch that documentary he just dropped "The Holly" if you are doubting Denver, or thinking he's embellishing or whatever. And right now, Aurora is a little suburb you really don't want to fvck around in thinking nothing bad goes on, and no I'm not talking about the movie theatre thing. Denver definitely had a major chapter of the black Panthers and the FBI busted them like they busted all of them nation wide, I don't even want to call it busted because they weren't doing anything wrong, just fear of black people rising up together. There is black history in Denver, mainly Holly square and 5 points area going way back to the 1930's, also a lot of Mexican American history.

      You can tell that you're a lame that has NEVER been to L.A. or Denver for that matter. I'm from L.A., and grew up there in the 80's and 90's, when the gangs were really out of control. And even then, if you were in most parts of South Central, the neighborhood itself looked very nice. It was THE GANGS that made the place dangerous.
      California is arguably the most beautiful place on Earth, definitely in the United States. That doesn't stop it from having it's dangerous spots and locations. Even though most of the state is relatively safe.
      Denver was no different. Good parts, bad parts. And FYI, Denver is nowhere near the mountains.
