Zack Snyder is a cinematographer at heart, and his movies were gorgeous and evocative, but lacked in real substance. James Gunn is a screenwriter first and foremost, so his works are heartfelt, relatable and empathic in a way Zack's aren't.

It was just one of the artists doing artwork for a pitch concept that didn't even have a story ready to be pitched yet. It'll probably be a while before there's even a discussion to be had with the studio.

Couldn't be more excited for James vision of the DC characters I've loved since I was a little kid. I would love nothing more than Marvel Studios and DC Studios to both be putting out great films and shows for us to enjoy.
I just always felt growing up that the DC properties all rocked to me and only the Hulk TV series was the one Marvel thing I liked growing up in the 80’s and 90’s. Swamp Thing movie and then the return of Swamp Thing with Heather Locklear. Loved the Chris Reeves Superman movies and the Keaton Batman movies along with the classic Batman TV series with Adam West. I thought Creature Commandos was a good start by showing us what we can expect, a whole different DC than what we had been given. I’m ready for it

Superman fights a freaking Kaiju, the Batman fights a serial killer who likes riddles. His brain would explode if he visited Metropolis. I love the grounded darkness of the Pattinson Batman world. Give us a Brave and the Bold Batman that is built like Jack Reacher and has a thousand gadgets and a jet and is less detective more vigilante badass genuis with a giant mech suit in his cave.

After rewatching Patrice O'Neal at Charlie Sheen's roast, I think Anthony Jeselnik would make a perfect Booster Gold. Jeselnik got sonned and it was awesome. Everything about his body language physical reaction as sitting on the dais getting lambasted just screamed Booster Gold. And don't get it wrong, I love the guy. He had the best monologue lines back when he was writing for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The audience would be silent and I'd be at home laughing my ass off.
James, Michael Richards make me happy, Schindlers list makes me sad, dogs are great, I’m Irish and I used to like root beer. 😊 There are no foods that make me confused.
