The Bee Gees had some of most iconic bassline grooves from the disco era, which to me was much more complicated than your normal bassline major notes and 4 beats. Maurice Gibb was like a 70's funk bass players with the beautiful runs. Love this groove. Great rendition. Groove on dude.
Well I 'm sorry if I played it too short. Because whenever I record myself, I don't look at the music sheet anymore. It's all memory and feeling to the song. Sometimes you forgot things if you are playing live. Don't play it too short if you're the one playing it then.
Top pleasure to learn it Bravo thank you tablanote (vision)= name of the sound in front of fret number. The sclale C3 D E2 F3 G A2 B4 C5 for the bass 4 stings. Soft: tablEdit Teufview for a Tablanote (option) So you start the song with C#4 E2, G#4 C#4 it's good for me to give a name to the music Friendly from Paris EmaB
Maurice Gibb was a genious bass player.
Strong bass lines.
Fantastic cover, staff and tabs🎉
Thank you so much😊
I love how much of a challenge I find those syncopated phrases. Thank you for the lesson!
Rest in peace Maurice, one of my favourite bassists of all time. ✌️😙

Ganahan pud ko ani... love it.
Great job !
I wish I still had my Precision :( Nice playing and dust and scratches lol.
I find this hard to play. Even though it's simple. Im fighting my own instincts. Their bass player had a strange style of playing.
A lot of the notes are on the off beat which tend to catch you out. Great song to practice though.
That would be Maurice Gibb
That’s what made their music so memorable ❤️🔥
He lands on "1" pretty religiously...as you said, the rest of the bar is on the "& of 2", "& of 3" and "& of 4".
Maurice Gibb is the GOAT
great sound
Very good friend.
I liked how you cut the backing track out. Hellos put everything in to perspective

Idol, parokya - maniwala ka sana.. salamat idol
Great video, dude.
But the tabs are a bit out of sync with the beat at the end - around 2.50 to finish.
Hey it is a great bass line and I love practicing it but every time I try someone is interrupting my practice dammit 😠😡
Too much for me. Glad you can play it.
It's hard to get the spacing and timing right on this.

You are playing those dotted D# notes too short, ie 41.

@@jcrtv83 It’s okay just wondering what happened. Cheers.
I cannot find any D# note in 41... I guess you mean F#
@@jkogfeldt7764 41 measure not second.
I’m getting so frustrated
Why? Just watch Saturday night fever, have a few jd's few lines and feel the groove don't be democrat. Cheers
