The dichotomy between the shirt and song 😍 👌🏻
From metal to funk lol
Everything is music.

"You're the one that I wantAAH" - James Hetfield
Great job. I don't know if very many people realize how cool this bass piece is, but it is.
Not so many actualy. Only A real bassists and musicians would be realizes how beautiful the bass in this song and its very important. I cant imagine if this bass groove didnt play while the song played
The bass line is the only reason I like this song. I would like it even without singing and with bass line a bit louder :D
Bass is the heart of this song.
@@Spanner249 bass is the rhythm, not the heart of a song.
Carol Kaye is god on bass!
Still one of the best bass lines ever written. Gives me goosebumps everytime even if the song is over 45 years old.
I'll never understand how you can coordinate your fingers like that and never miss once. It's simply divine!
Nothing more rockin’ than covering this song in a Metallica T! This song is just one of best ever written. Always puts me in a better mood. My wife and I use to sing this all the time. Some folks can’t get the feel of the right bounce of the rhythm in this song. Great job.
Absolutely thinkin the same, it just does !!!
This is just a crazy bass line... my husband finally got it though...
It cool you're bragging on your husband. Great wifr
i learned it in 30 mins yesterday
I love this bass line and I love listening to it. Been playing this song for years mostly just because the bass is just so awesome. Great job.
The bass ,lo que le da vida a esta canción ,si todos lo recordamos hasta ahora ,son por los acordes de este excelente bajo de guitarra.
Awesome bass line and you nailed it! Nice juxtaposition with the Metallica shirt and heavy ink, too! Great job!
After "Another one bites the dust", this is my second favorite bassline
You really play it the way it must be. Great job.
this is the best RUclips version in my opinion, you are good and loose, everyone overly focuses on the timing, this is more like the original
Bro this is chunky af! I am gonna try and learn this! Proper underrated bassline!
Echo KCDave…….saw the shirt, saw the hair, saw the ink……NEVER would have figured!!!!
Slam dunk! You nailed it. Great job!
One of my all time favorite bass lines. The bassist went HAM
This is a totally awesome cover of this song.. you have a great tone and great pick technique… I’ll be working on it soon..thank you for the work..have a great day….
That's an amazing job man. I realized listening to you the baseline in this acts like the lead guitar is well.
I've heard this song many times, but this only recently hit me. All of a sudden I realized "hey, this song doesn't have a guitar. It's just the Bass!". And it's a great bass line too, so really glad the song was arranged (and mixed) to make it stand out.
Crazy bass line. Well done dude:) 👍🏻👏🏻😎
Wow...that was great!!! Sounds exactly like the recording!!
This song just kicks ass
I was today years old before I listened the bass line on this song!!! OMG. One of many hidden masterpieces!
yess its true, hi from bali indonesia
One all bassists should learn.
This is a MASTERPIECE of a bass line. Great performance bro.
Maybe my favorite bass line of all time. You did a great job.
Dude,you just nailed it,congrats !!!
Glad to see I’m not the only metal lover who loves to play funky bass
Well done, that was super tight!
I am a late beginner and it would be nice to learn this but I can see this is not for the faint of heart. I my have to come back to this one when my music and playing ability improves.
cara ,,que timbre perfeito!!!! sonzeira...
Sir, thank you so much for sharing your talent on the bass, I recently picked up my cousins bass guitar , he had passed away and i received some of his instruments and amp, I know a few chords on the piano and guitar, but, by seeing you perform on the bass, kinda gives me a challenge to learn this on my cousins bass, thx for being there at the right time, haha, GOD bless you
Excelente trabajo. Muchas gracias. Un placer aprender asi
Great stuff. I was told I need to learn this last night and I knew it was going to be a challenge. A great help. Thanks
It’s a quite busy bassline!
No words. Just ...
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Damn brother, you rock, nice bass tone 👍
Excelente hermano, felicidades!.. saludos desde Veracruz, México!
This is so beautiful :) Kudos and thanks RF.
Nice bass cover👍👍
So cool man!!!
If you remove the bass from that song, there's really nothing left...
Beautifully done. Picked and all the mutes and pops.

Best part about this song is the bass line
I'm a bit confused with the ghost notes in this song. A lot of other people play it with two (semi quaver) ghost notes, rather than one on the main A minor riff.
eg.: Score here is 5 x 7 x for first four quavers of the first intro bar, but a lot of people play it 5xx7xx with two semi-quaver ghost notes, and to be honest, that's what has always seemed to correct to me in the past (before I ever attempted starting playing it), but after having seen a bass score that was identical to this one (maybe it was from the same channel), it then got me thinking that maybe we've been tricked into thinking there are more bass ghost notes in that song than there are, because maybe the electric guitar and/or drums are causing that rythmn which we attribute to the bass?
Is the bass going 'boom - chic - boom - chic' or' boom-chic-a-boom-chic-a'?
I am personally learning it in the style it's done on this video, obviously it's not much adjustment to learn it either way, and then be able to do it the other way, but it would be interesting to know if there's some final authority on the matter of what the notes are.
You're so good!!! Thanks!
Master ¡¡¡ So great¡¡¡
smooth!
Yes man🤩
Killer job!!
That bassline is insanely gorgeous! From a drummer...
Bravissimo!,,
Very well played
Bravoooooooo

Fantastic!.
Who played the bass on the original record ?
Dave Hungate
Sir, what are you using for a pic?
Muy bien colega, tiene en partitura a esa canción.
Muy buenoooo
Que significa en X en tabs??
Tengo una ayuda sobre eso 😿😿

Does anyone know who the genius was that created the original version? Good cover too, dude!
It was David Hungate. He's normally known for playing with fingers but I think may have used a pick on this one.
Awesome
Nice 👍👍👍👍
Bro, puedes decir que marca y modelo son el bajo y amplificador porfa?
Buen video por cierto
Gracias!! El bajo es un Epiphone Toby Deluxe IV y lo grabé con una Mark Bass Driver DI

Thought this sounded easy on the sound track……still trying to get it all
Great job.
Bonus: Wearing a Metallica shirt while playing this song.
Nice! But it would sound much better playing it with the fingers, like Jeff Porcaro used to do it, instead a pick.
It looks harder than it really is, isn't it?
I think so.
Not at all this bass line is legendary so is the bass player who created it look him up
Metallica covering Grease tunes? lol jk
great playing buy IMO the tone is way too angry
