7:16 there’s mine on the left! It was such a fun challenge! Seeing everyone’s work was super inspiring and it helped me out of a funk I had been having with art. Congrats to everyone for taking part and thank you for setting it up and creating this video! ❤
It absolutely blows my mind what a spectacular job everyone did this year! And as always it's always a joy watching your process, you really do bring a ton of personality to such tiny pixel characters. :D
Alex lets gooooo, yeah everyone killed it but YOU.... YOU MADE IT 3D?!?!?!?! That is nuts, on another dimension, literally but also in the other way that just means cool :'D Thanks a lot
didn't manage to finish the challenge in time but had a lot of fun working on it nonetheless lol, I hope you're doing alright saul with everything going on lately. stay strong my friend!
Ah yay! Thats mine at 4:21, the Kikwi Farm (Skyward Sword themed). It was my first time participating and everyone made such cool work. Really fun working on prompts and then checking out what the community was up to on the same day
This was such a blast to participate in. I fizzled out 12 days in last year and was determined to apply some new skills to this year’s and finish it. Thanks for the experience!!!
I'm so happy to be in this video and participating this challenge! It's my first Septembit and I learnt so much new things with this challenge. Thank you for making this, Saultoons! :)
Thanks for hosting Septembit, Saul!🌟Had fun doing it and it's my first time doing any pixel art prompt. It's always interesting to see how people work in such limited space and colour palette!😄
2:11 That's my work on the left. Thank you Saultoon for arranging this Septembit, it was my first time doing this kind of challenge, it was so much fun!
Awesome, feel free to take part in any of the previous challenges, a lot of people like to use them to improve, the earlier septembits have great limits for learning the importance of single pixels and other things too! :D
This year was my very first try on the septembit and It really helped me grow as an artist . Thank you saul for the palette and I'm really excited for next year ( My works the middle one on 05:53 if anyone is interested , one easter egg my piece had is that I hid a saul fanart above the palette )
This was my first time participating on a art challenge, it was very fun and i loved the community. thank you! (sorry for possible gramar mistakes, i dont speak english very well)
this palette reminds me of that one Halloween Challenge palette you made a few years ago that you also said was ugly. But, just like that one, I really like this one, too. excited tobtry it, myself.
That was really hard challenge and I'm so happy because I was able to finish it. The palette was good and interesting enough, I am always surprised how cool could be an unsaturated color palette. I can't choose favorite, there are sooo many beautiful pieces. Thank you for this challenge!
Oh no! I completely missed this challenge :0 The theme is so awesome and the entries also, I'll try to finish it on my own when I have some more time :)
Participating in this was a lot of fun and it helped a lot to learn several things, besides seeing the styles and ways of working of others is very cool! 6:01 I am really proud of my work, but above all, of the cows, look at those big, chubby and beautiful cows!
Awesome work mate! There are some seriously talented and creative people in this community. Really inspiring stuff. Love your dog by the way, so cute! Looking forward to the next one already. Tempted to give this a crack myself towards the end of the year. Better late than never ay! :D
hi, last year I saw your challenge to draw adventure characters and am so impressed with all those creative versions. Recently, I've been play a board game blood on clock tower, there are soooo many characters in it. Will it be possible that some day there will be a challenge to create pixel art for the "blood on the clock tower" roles?
Its ashame thw google form didnt work for me. BUT NEXT year ill make sure to submit it as soon as i can before it breaks on me >:D NOTHING WILL STOP ME
Ah I may have forgotten to add your work I think I remember you reached out, there was so many 🤣 pop your socials here anyway so people can see it! Thanks for taking part
Ah sorry about that, I tried to include the link in all of my septembit posts, but I knew some people might miss it! I perhaps thought about compiling more to put in some sort of gallery so if you want to send me it directly on social media DM, if I ever get around to that, I'll try to include yours! But of course, there's always next year :D
Hi Polacha, challenges are always announced on the community Discord channel, links in the description! We don't always do a challenge EVERY month though :)
Haii, I'm programming a farming game like Stardew Valley and I would like some characters running around but the time effort for pixeling every animation for many characters is just too high. Do you have some kind of advice or a tool for me to help? Every help is appreciated!
I guess you can make a template animation that you can just put the other character features on, but you’re probably not going to avoid the amount of work required for something like that, a template or standard walk/run cycle would be good for some efficiency but it’s still a long process, there’s a reason stardew valley took years to create hehe 😁 you got this!
I use Aseprite or Clip Studio Paint but there are lots of different software that can create this type of artwork, check out my Ultimate Pixel Art Tutorial to learn more!
