Personally prefer the try on haul because I get to see how it looks on you; and for ladies with a similar body type as you can kinda see how it will look on them. Still love the thrift with me videos, they're just so calming.
my comment is going to be unrelated to this video but i wanted to comment on some youtube comments i saw you share on twitter. as someone who not only loves every video you post but has occasionally replayed them - please don't let those negative comments trick you into thinking your content is in any way boring or repetitive. i think i speak for almost all of your viewers when i say that your videos are always interesting, informative and clearly well thought out with alot of effort behind them all. even when you think a video might be boring people are dropping everything to immediately watch it including myself. there's not one video i can think of in the years i've watched you that didn't make me think deeper, chuckle, wanna buy clothes i don't need or brighten my day. please don't let those negative comments sway you into doing less of the content you enjoy and more of what people want instead. we will love any video you put out. your channel has always been one of my favorites. you're down to earth, you wanna talk about the real stuff even though it isn't always ad friendly and you clearly care about your channel and take into consideration what your audience wants to see as well as branching out and talking about what you want. you don't just post something last second with no editing and a clickbait title with an ad per minute. you give a shit and for that we will always give a shit about whatever you post regardless the subject matter. so please continue posting what you like and what you're passionate about and don't ever doubt the importance of your channel and the impact your videos have on those watching. you matter, your videos matter but their opinions don't have to.

I kinda like it when you do the haul immediatley after you leave the store because you get to see you immediate reaction to the store and items
I prefer when you show the items as you get them because it helps show the reality of what thrift shopping is and that you typically get only a few items at a time! 😊
Thrift stores in America look so good. The thrift stores/charity shops we have in England aren’t even half as good and i love to thrift I’m so jealous😩😂
Babbling Brook It’s really not great everywhere in America. Usually all I find is broken children’s toys, damaged books, and torn or stained clothing. Just depends.
Babbling Brook it really depends on the area and your size. For instance I live in Dallas, Texas and am on the higher end of plus size. It's hard for me to find anything other than the occasional t-shirt (have to dig through thousands to maybe find one decent one that isn't shrunk to hell) or like men's sweaters in the fall and winter. I find good things in housewares a lot but clothing is a lot harder.
+Mandi Mayhem this just shows how different thrift stores all over the world are. because where i live it's extremely hard to find plus size clothes in regular stores but in thrift stores there are tons of good quality plus size items (especially pants/jeans)
sawyers yup. Dallas is a big city with tons of ppl so we have lots of things other areas don't. We have quite a few decent plus size options in retail stores... But a lot of them are Junior plus like forever 21 so they only go up to about a 20 or 22.. and the ones that are actually women's sizing are pretty pricey. I also live in a lower income area and my style is alternative so it's hard to find things that fit me aesthetically no matter where I'm shopping. But over all the years I've thrifted I've found one flannel that fit me and wasn't like shit brown and 0 pairs of jeans.
I like a haul as you go, but then look book after always shows of style!

I wish thrifting in Canada was as good as it is in the US, here the prices are ridiculous to the point that I just rather buy something new. The cheap stuff is not fit to wear, and whatever is decent is like way over price. I found a decent jacket once at Value Village and it was $59.99 +tax like :/ I just rather go to winners instead.

I wish we had these big thrift shops in Belgium, we have like one rack for jackets, two for sweaters and so on and every time I go I see the same stuff but Im still not losing hope in my thriftshop

So excited for the haul! I love thrift stores. I actually work at a thrift store (value village but I think it's called savers in California) and since you are wondering, we put out new stock every single day except weekends. Most thrift stores have a little code on the tag so you can tell what day it was put out

If you're up for an extra 10 minutes on top of your drive, there are a couple shops in David worth checking out. All Things Right and Relevant is a consignment shop, and there is a cute shop downtown called Bohéme. If you come on a Wednesday afternoon or Saturday morning, you can catch farmers market and get some froyo across the street. ;)

I can't speak for your Goodwill, but I worked at one in the Midwest. I worked in softline production so I sorted through all the clothes and linens and priced them. At my Goodwill we put out hundreds of "new" items every single day!
It was actually a pretty nice job for an introverted, shy shopaholic lol

I used to shop at Freestyle and Crossroads all the time, but lately I haven't. They in my opinion have gotten so expensive. Goodwill too had been getting a little pricey but I still go sometimes because they are more accessible.. My fav places lately have been Weave on Arden way and their sister store True on K and 19th in downtown Sac. I've found some amazing things at the stores, some of my favorite finds of all time... Also the Thrift Town in the Citrus Heights/Fair Oaks area has been good to me and its super low prices, plus they send my coupons constantly (last time though I walked out with nothing.... it can be hit or miss depending on when you go, but I've found amazing things there for ridiculously cheap) Their other location in Sac is apparently where they shot some scenes for the movie Lady Bird, but I'm less of a fan of that location. I think I've only bought one thing there in my years of thrifting.
Anyways, I love your thrifting videos. As an avid thrifter, they are super inspiring and make me want to go thrifting lol!

I love watching your videos and I’ve seen you and Sarah a couple of times because I am from Roseville ish area but always been to nervous to say hi lol it’s crazy because all the thrift stores you go to I love those places but now I live in Davis so it always makes me want to go back in thrift!

I've been in some of the thrift stores you were showing but tbh Sac goodwills suck balls. I have much better luck in the Bay even though the clothing tends to be more pricey
