You’re cracking me up about that space you’re gonna have! You’re gonna fill it up so fast lol when you get my age (65) less is best. Your kids don’t want your crap so why keep it lol I feel so much lighter getting rid of stuff. Thanks so much for sharing 💜
That was one of the main unmentioned reasons why I felt ok selling it❤️
@@PickersWarehouseTV I knew that!!! lol
Hell...I paid part of my house off by selling my old toys as a kid (i'm 59 now). Now my 26 year old is having me sell his shit at fleas and wherever (comic, anime shows, etc) More importantly, I finally talked my parents into at least getting rid of their Christmas decorations. That crap, if it's from the mid-70's or earlier goes well. YOu won't get a mint for it, but you'll get rid of it. Basically, I want to retire so I can just spend all my time selling collectibles (mine, my son's and my parents). Bottom line - ABS....Always Be Selling. Nowadays, it has to be something pretty damn nice to get into my OWN collection....
@@user-tl7mj2bm4m that sounds like fun! Go ahead and retire lol!
First ghost rider is in Tim Holt. It’s a white cover.
Good call! Maybe it was just an early appearance, or I could've been completely confused 🤣
Got the Wayne Gretzky doll at a Kaybee at an LA mall in 1984.
Justin! 👀 ANYTHING LESS, WOULD BE UNCIVILIZED!! THAT WAS DOPE AF! What i just witnessed just made me feel all kinds of EMOTIONS!! 🙉🙈🙊
You are a legend my friend ❤️
Yeah man. No regrets. You can turn that money into something you’re more passionate about.
Absolutely I love that train of thought! The buyer is known in the community, I trust he will get these books to loving homes🙏
It’s not everyday some says I want to buy your entire collection! That was some comprehensive collection of comics. It will be a little tough to replace most of the older comics if you decided to start all over again. Glad you parted them to a friend.
The Star Wars #79 was the last issue of the run. it was the most valuable of the series..My mom saved all of my comics when I joined the army in1976..yeah
I'll miss the star wars stuff for sure!
Hi Justin... You sold them so you can start collecting them again. 😁🎸🖌
Hey there dude!!!
@@MommaG Hi Momma G 🥰💕💜
That is a great point, in a few years maybe I'll have a very similar video again🤣
@@PickersWarehouseTV The video will explore that it's the journey not the destination. We collect because we love ❤ and appreciate the art 🖌 , the ideas 💡& the history 📖of those before us ⏳and around 🌎us .
OMG 😮😮😮😮😮 I wouldn’t sell the key issues
Was tough, but the key issues kinda made the whole deal juicy to the buyer🙏
Tough choice, but something all collectors have to consider at some point. I hope it works out for you.
I appreciate that💪
Your dude got a great collection man. These kinds are my favorite.
Im regretting it and it aint even my collection lol
Forreal!🤣😫
It's done...No regerts......at Pickers warehouse...It was time young man, even the pooches we're feeling it, I feel your friend needed them more than you did and you just did what good friends do...time to focus on another venture @ Pickers warehouse TV...
Appreciate that Kevin 💪
What you just did was insane 😂 awesome collection. I’d have to know I was terminally I’ll to do that !
Epic comment 🤣
Justin That's Amazing CONGRATULATIONS 🥳🔥👏🏻🎉
Thanks Sugarplum 🤩
You inspire me to do the same thing. I also have the fear of regret if I do. I would keep the exact same comics you did. And yes make a toy video so I can be jealous.
Do it! Why the heck not, comics are cool but remember the 3 F's that I just made up right now... Family, Friends, Fishing. Everything else is ehh
It's alway's bittersweet when letting go of a huge collection..😢 Try to focus on the good of letting go space, extra money, & now you get to go look for more to replace it..🤔🙄😂 Excellent collection Justin and I'm sure your buddy will enjoy them..😍🎉 Take care..👍❤🔥🤙
Well said thanks Jackie 😊
Bitter Sweet my Friend….!!! I totally get it J.
Totally bittersweet. Great to hear from you my friend 💪
The good news is that you can always replace them with reprints such as the Marvel Epic Collection Line of paperback books or get the hardcover Omnibuses.
🙏great idea! Hopefully I'll find most of the originals again out in the trenches🤩🤞
if your happy that is all that matters! 😼💛
I've made peace with it🤣❤️
As Pirate says...HustleGrindRewind! I only buy now if I know I can add value to what I get. Like restoring guitars, etc.
Unless your bleeding, don't sell them. You have 5,700 subscribers. Why wouldn't you ask for bids?
It went to a good friend and a great guy in the comic scene. RageTheo. The deal was mutually sweet
Man wish i had the money to buy some comics.
A little sad, but a good decision dude.
I appreciate that Poppa G💪
I miss the auctions bro...
How much of that did you read?
My dream find. 😍
I actually have some of this collection. Not enough of it though, apparently. ;)
I will continue to find more goodness, that's one plus I suppose
Dude!!!! Hopefully you got $1000's of dollars for that!?! If not, the guy who bought is NOT A FRIEND! Dude, you had great books in there and probably a ton we didn't see! Get it back and I'll more than double what paid!!!
I appraised it all and the offer was very fair, but I fear I still might regret it!🤣🫠
Damn this must be hard for you. Hope you don't regret it.
Staying strong 🤣💪
I’d love that Spy Smasher for some vintage toys if you wanna trade.
I actually still have that book, spine is pretty bad, still complete though, insanely cool cover. Message on ig💪
@@PickersWarehouseTV sounds good brother. No pressure to part with it too. If we make a deal that would be cool, but I have a few things I can part with.
The spy smasher is going for 1000 or more on eBay be careful it’s rare don’t just give it away
@@travis54545 condition sensitive
I didn’t see the price paid. Was it in there ?
Keep that Ams#300 it only goes up on value
Thanks for sharing. Its like Metallica says, "The Memory Remains." La, da, da, da, la, da, da, da, la, da, da, da
That's one main reason I made this video, to look back upon💪
Do the toys
Hey Justin sweet collection ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Yvonne!!
Sell it all Justin!!!
🙏🤩💪
If you don't get any joy in what you're collecting, you might regret it.
But if you find something else to replace that hobby then you'll be fine.
Also you never see a u-haul driving behind a hearse. You can't take these things with you when you die.
Your last sentence is very true🙏 I like comics but I prefer old toys, which I still have for now💪
No question... you WILL regret
🤣 I think you're right
You really should keep at least 2 comic boxes of the books you really care about and some key issues cause I sold my comics years ago and regretted it and now I started back collecting again so you really should keep two boxes of all your favorite books and keys cause you are going to regret doing that.
I kept a few short boxes of my very favorite stuff🙏
@@PickersWarehouseTV but you should keep some of your key books like Amazing Spiderman#300 and others cause those are the books that will only keep going up over time
Like part of will be missing!!! 😎 PICKERS WAREHOUSE TV 😎
Dude - you need to start setting up at fleas.....
We do, not as much as we used to though
why no boards??? Baffling
I kinda wish you woulda mentioned what you got for em 🫣
Out of respect to the buyer I didnt put that info in the video. I'll give you one over under if you wanna guess🤩
11,000 is my guess
Hey if your in the Michigan area I’d like some of your golden age books
