Just saw them (The Funeral Portrait) in Hershey, PA concert last night and was in awwwww..as I never heard of them til last night. They did an excellent job and love them. Another song they did that was one of my fav now... is Voodoo Doll... I met the singer and one of the band player in person after the concert, they let me and my daughter get a picture with them.. they are the nicest gentlemen.. very respectful and totally rock out.. I also totally feel.. they are underrated.. they been playing for 10 years and need more exposure... they are one of my (and my daughter) favorite bands now since hearing them last night. At the concert they also sang You're so ugly when you cry..... Would love to hear your reactions to more of their songs.
I heard a touch of the Danish band "Volbeat" which might be the rockabilly sound.
The Funeral Portrait's live shows are incredibly energetic. I love seeing them live and they are such a great group of guys! I heard a little Chris Daughtry in there when I first heard Lee Jennings' vocals. ;-) The Funeral Portrait actually opened for Ice Nine Kills at show last September. I was just as excited to see them as I was Ice Nine!

I live in the north Atlanta area and used to grow up playing tiny venues like Swayzes and I remember Lee always being in different bands. It’s cool to see him making it after all these years. I’m now 32 years old, married and work a 9-5. Glad one of us made it!
Saw Funeral Portrait live last year, great show and group. Happy for their collaboration and how much attention they are getting, it is so well deserved!
I normally describe them as fallout Boy meets 3 days grace
The vocals immediately reminded me of Windwaker (some parts of it).
I discovered them when they released Voodoo Doll, Lee’s voice and the lyrics were a perfect match.
This song kicks ass and I can’t wait to see what else they release. The band members are very down to earth nice as guys who deserve all the attention they are getting now days.

I got My Chemical Romance and Coheed and Cambria.
So many vocal influences in there for me. Gerard way, Micheal from Volbeat, Matt Bellamy from muse. Guys talented these guys are great. That chorus is sooo black parade 😂
I got to see these guys live just a month ago, absolutely electric performance. They all have such wonderful chemistry on stage and I'm so glad to see them finally starting to get seen. Highly recommend their other tracks, Voodoo Doll and Generation Psycho especially stick out to me personally but all are wonderful!
Shinedown is who they sound like, voice wise anyway to me.

TFP are freaking brilliant. My favorites by them are Dark Thoughts, Voodoo Doll, & You're So Ugly When You Cry. This one is great too. I don't think they make any bad ones... His voice reminds me of Brent from Shinedown, Patrick from Fall Out Boy, & Chris from Black Stone Cherry.
That Creeper comment is so on point! Such an underrated band in the emo/goth scene, Hannah and Will’s vocals work so well together and I love them deeply

I'm getting Shinedown with the riff and a little Volbeat with his vocals at the beginning. Definitely getting the My Chem vibes for most of the song though.
Vocalist sounds similar to the vocalist of Emarosa.
