Dude ended up coming back & bringing people with him. If I told them no, they would ask why & I wouldn’t be smart enough to tell them ‚it’s because superman sucks, but not as much as it’s fans‘… couldn’t imagine how that would go. It would almost be less effort just doing it than telling them no. Also, love when I say no to tattoos that I have(like face tattoos) & they immediately point out I have similar ones. 🤦♂️ Like, maybe that’s why I know better than to subject the locals to that

I have my wife's name on my ring finger and my wife has mine. Been married for 17 1/2 years and together for 20. So far so good. But I understand why artists would not want to do that.
I'm not going to sit here and pretend I would not get my spouse's initial on my ring finger. I would. And once it healed, I could cover it with my wedding ring (on the days I was mad at him), LOL!

Though at least it's in elvish, so no one can tell, and I could always just lie and say it says "love" or some other shit, or laser it off and get it covered. Think of it this way, they are helping that person hide their prejudices. Instead of letting them make a regrettable decision that will haunt them the rest of their life. In a way they are actually harboring a true racist not stopping an expression of that ideology.

It’s almost impossible to get straight. Also, everyone I’ve asked what it means, I’ve gotten different answers. Pretty sure that tattoo means absolutely nothing.
In a few cultures this is actually a REALLY offensive tattoo as well. In Korea, for example, the line around the arm was the mark of a criminal or a sex slave.
My artist refuses face, neck, and hand tattoos unless he knows you personally or you're older. He got a pretty rude review from some 18 year old he refused to do a giant neck tattoo. He only did my hand because we're freinds and he knows I already own my own buissnes.
the furthest my artist will go is the wrist or collarbone, no if, ands or buts. part of my forearm piece goes past my wrist and just onto the back of my hand and i had to beg him for that. pretty sure he only relented cuz i'm a repeat client XD but that is one of his absolute rules.

Jonathan Peña I don't mind that. He seems to be very good at what he does so there's going to be some ego that accompanies that. My issue is that he's trying to dance around not being a assertive person, as opposed to just dealing with the fact that he is not a confrontational person. Not everyone is.

I like that they won't just do anything, because I'm a licensed hairstylist for 21 years and I've had to turn down services also if I know it wouldn't turn out the way the client wants and/or it would damage their hair im not doing it..... they can go to someone else to get their hair ruined, it's not worth it,I've learned that over the past 20+ year's experience.....
