@@kalbalia there isn’t really any in the sense of consulting, but there are so many books on IT strategy or tech strategy! I unfortunately don’t have any in mind that stand out to me.
I’m not so sure what exactly “emergency” management consulting is, but I would start with the people that interviewed you on what your role looks like! Since I don’t know the field myself, I wouldn’t do the video any justice.
They might be more boutique firms that focus in LA, but definitely almost all big consulting firms have a CMT unit (Communications, Media, and Tech) that focuses on that industry!

It depends on the exact role and firm. They all can be different. Which firm is this and do you have the full name of the role you applied to? I always try to dissect the job description, research the firm for their values, specialties, and focus, and network with consultants at the firm for the behind the scenes intricacies.
I guess it depends on what you need it for. I barely use PowerPoint because my sessions are all interactive and demo based, but our PowerPoints are templates our firm provides with the firm’s branding or from Workday themselves as I’m a Workday Financials Consultant. There are tons of videos on how to make great slides from Kajol Phadnis and Firm Learning.

I don’t think you’ll apply much but the critical thinking and problem solving or some of the technical skills from that field (if applicable) could be transferrable! You would market those skills and experiences and the right project would come or vice versa see which skills are transferable to key projects!
You speak too fast, sometimes Im thinking if your are still breathing. 😆 I tried it myself but believe me I cant talk fast like you do. I wish i have the same lungs as you.
HAHAHHA, I don’t normally talk so fast in a normal conversation, but usually my mind runs faster than my mouth so I talk very fast. This is a video I made a little earlier in my RUclips journey, I slow down a little bit later on due to feedback, but there is also a slow down feature on RUclips if needed!
