Anybody else always get excited way to early and then the week before camp you can't wait until you leave, so your just sitting in your room waiting for it to be time to leave?

I'm getting a scholarship for one this summer. If I go, I'm gonna stay for 12 days. It's a fine arts camp so I get to do choir!!!

I'm just excited.
I'm going to a church camp this week and I'm going for the first time! We're going to a college a couple hours away, and I'm excited but nervous! They did give us a list of what to pack (that made me feel less worried about what to pack!) We don't have a camera yet but we're going to get one today. I have an alarm clock and watch to tell the time, since we can't bring phones. I don't have a phone to bring anyway so I wouldn't have to worry about that. One thing I reccomend for any girl with long hair going to a camp is to bring hair ties! Scrunchies, elastics, anything to pull up your hair and keep it out of your face! Bring closed toed shoes and a pair of comfy casual shoes. If you're going to a camp this summer, I hope you have fun and enjoy your time wherever you're going! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💗

One of the perks of having really short hair- i never need a brush and my hair is really easy to take care of when on trips
I have curly hair and my mom french braids my hair every morning because I hate my hair down, well at my 2 week summer camp in a few days I will have to wear it down 💀

One really underrated item is biker gloves or just like gloves with knuckle padding cuz u can defend urself, do dirty work and just be safe when ur doing activities in the forest or somewhere like that

You can still learn SO MUCH as a CIT. This is my 9th year as a Camp Counselor and LOVE it!!!!! I'm bringing my own sleeping bag!!!!
And bodies/sweat shirt is a MUST with Campfires.

I went to Student Life Camp last year and literally ever since I really, really, want to be able to be a counselor one day at a camp. I’d loveee to do something in music but idk if that will work out hahaha. But I just hope and pray that someday I can be a counselor at a summer camp bc oh my gosh it looks and sounds so fun and literally every counselor there recommend it to me haha!

3rd summer going to camp (camp starts Sunday) spent two summers in the same cabin section but I aged out of that group this year so I'm going to be in a cabin section. Going to miss the cabin I got two years in a row 😕

I remember when I went to my first summer camp with my cousin and it was hilarious bc we got in the same cabin and our roommates we already knew so we were up most of the night laughing bc one of the girls kept rolling of there beds by accident and I got a whole bunk bed to myself so we just put our suitcases and backpacks on the bottom bunk

I’m a young person so this is my first time going to camp and it’s in the summer. I’ve never went to a camp before I’m staying for a week overnight I’m super excited but also nervous I’m gonna stay in a cabin with some random people which is kinda the part that’s making me nervous I’m hoping I stay in a cabin with atleast one of my friends but it’s pretty unlikely so yeah.
