I’m a HUGE fan of Pixar’s Turning Red ever since it came out on Disney+ on March 11th 2022! Whenever I had the time to watch it, I always fall DEEPLY in love with it…! And hearing it got 95% on Rotten Tomatoes?! THAT’S AWESOME!!!!! And this movie had a lot of great things too! The casting was superb, with Sandra Oh as Ming, and Rosalie Chiang as my favourite character, Mei, who I can describe her performance in 2 words: ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Her voice is SO PERFECT for the 13 year old! Every time I hear her voice, I’m like: “Awww…! I wanna give the adorable red panda the biggest fluffy hug and a soft kiss on either of her fluffy cheeks or the tip of her panda nose…!” And did you know that Rosalie Chiang was hired to be the main star of the film at the age of 12?! Apparently, when they were doing some scratch vocal recording sessions, the animators fell in love with her voice, that they decided to keep her on board! And a smart choice I might say! The music by Ludwig Göransson was OUTSTANDING, and with the use of a 75 piece orchestra, a 24 piece choir, authentic Chinese instruments, and recorded at The Eastwood Scoring Stage! And with 3 original songs written by Finneas O’Connell and Billie Eilish, and sung by the movie’s boy band 4*Town, with 1 True Love, U Know What’s Up and the smash hit single Nobody Like U! But the one and only thing I absolutely adore is Mei’s cute and adorable red panda form! Every time she turns into a red panda, I instantly go: AWWW…! Then I blush with terminal cuteness, and wish to give her a massive fluffy hug…! But then, after the movie, I said this: “If I had my own Red Panda Mei plush, I would be snuggling up with her all day long, do some Zen with her, and give her a tiny kiss on the tip of her adorable Panda nose…!” And then, on my 26th birthday, something in my mind said: “You WANT the Panda? You’re GETTING the Panda!” And there she was! The Disney Store 40cm or 18 foot Red Panda Mei plush! And she was just as cute, adorable, soft, fluffy, and huggable just like in the movie! And now I can snuggle up with her, do some Zen with her, and give her a tiny kiss on the tip of her adorable panda nose…! (Sighs, and snuggles up with my red panda and kisses the tip of her adorable panda nose) AND, I even placed Turning Red at Number 1 in my Top 10 All Time Favourite Pixar Movies list! And I’m wishing the movie would get a Disney+ Original series, or even better, a concert film with the cast! And that’s not all! After hearing the 2 songs: Larger Than Life by the Backstreet Boys & It’s Gonna Be Me by *NSYNC, I thought to myself: “Why don’t I combine the Turning Red soundtrack, the original score by Ludwig Göransson, and add some greatest hits from a variety of different boy bands and girl bands?!” Well, after a couple of days, I made the ultimate playlist album on Spotify and giving the unofficial title: “Music From and Inspired by Disney/Pixar’s Turning Red!” It’s available for streaming on Spotify and made for any fan of Turning Red who just wants to PARTY!!!!! And to this day, Turning Red remains as my number 1 all time favourite Pixar movie! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Isn’t Red Panda Mei THE most adorable thing ever…? From her fluffy design, the super cute face, big furry ears, sweet little eyebrows, cute fluffy paws, big stubby feet, and her signature bushy striped tail, I think of this character as the most beautiful red panda I’ve ever seen…! And with ultra soft fluffy fur, you might say she’s perfect for cuddling, hugging and petting! And when she first got it, and called it as: “A stupid, sloppy, smelly and ugly monster…!” But if I was a character in Turning Red, and hearing those words, I’d be like: (Red Panda Mei cries in her bed, because she couldn’t control her emotions, until I put a hand on her fluffy tail, and gently rubbed around it) Myself: Mei-Mei…? (Red Panda Mei looks at me in tears and sniffles) Myself: Are you alright…? Red Panda Mei: No… I’m not… Why would I be cursed to become a hideous beast…?! My friends will think I look like a heap of smelly fur, or they’ll say I’m a stupid, ugly freak…! (Red Panda Mei cries into her pillow) (I immediately felt sorry for my fluffy friend, and I gave her a gentle hug against her soft fur) Myself: Sshh… Sshh… (Red Panda Mei sniffles as she looked at me with tears flowing down her fluffy cheeks) Myself: It’s alright… (I gave Red Panda Mei a soft kiss on her fluffy cheek) Myself: It’s ok… (I gently rubbed Red Panda Mei’s soft fur) Myself: I’m here now… (Red Panda Mei takes some deep breaths) Myself: But… there is something about your panda form that I really, really like…! Red Panda Mei: Huh…? W… What is it…? Myself: Well, if you listen VERY carefully, I’ll tell you! (Red Panda Mei turns round and listens) First of all… (Looks all around Red Panda Mei) You’re not stupid. You’re not sloppy. You’re not even that ugly. AND, you’re not even smelly! In fact, you smell like… (Sniffs Mei’s fluffy fur) …like orange blossom oil…! (Red Panda Mei looks at me in surprise) AND… You’re not a monster. Red Panda Mei stammers in confusion: But… but… I am…! Just look at me…! I’m hideous…! I raise a finger to Red Panda Mei: Sshh… Sshh… This “monster” of yours is not even freaky…! And I don’t even consider it as a curse either! Red Panda Mei’s eyebrows go up: You don’t…?! Myself: Nope! Not a single bit! Red Panda Mei felt more confused: Then… what do you think of it then…?! Myself: I think of your panda form as a rare gift! Red Panda Mei: A… gift…?! What on earth do you really mean…?!?! Myself: What I mean is the red panda form that you recently got in your nightmare is what I call: “The most beautiful, the cutest, the fluffiest, the loveliest, the most huggable, and the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen!” Red Panda Mei felt a small smile come to her face: Do you really mean it…?! Myself: I absolutely love it…! I mean, look at you! You’re smiling! Look at those pearly white teeth…! Red Panda Mei’s smile grew wider with joy: You really, REALLY mean it?!?! Myself: How could I ever resist such a beautiful, cute, fluffy and adorable red panda like you?! (Red Panda Mei screams in cuteness, and gives me a BIG FLUFFY HUG!) Myself: WHOA…! I guess I cheered you up, didn’t I, Mei-Mei…?! Red Panda Mei felt tears of joy in her eyes: Yes! You sure did! Thank you! I guess… I’m not a scary red panda at all! (I smile with a small tear in my eye, as I returned the hug to Red Panda Mei, then I give her a kiss on the tip of her panda nose) Red Panda Mei was surprised at first, then blinks cutely and chuckles: WOW… I… don’t know what to say…! Thank you…! Myself: You’re welcome, Mei-Mei…! I’m always here for you whenever you feel lonely…! Especially when I’m snuggling up with a cute, fluffy and adorable red panda like you…! Red Panda Mei wipes her tears, smiles brightly, and gives me another fluffy hug: YOU LOVE ME…! YOU REALLY LOVE ME…!
