    • @lukegutberlet5292
      @lukegutberlet5292 Год назад +1

      @@adamcollett4034 im no doctor, but from what I’ve read the labrum is going to stay torn. the surgery to fix that would put him out for the duration of the season and it seems he has no problem fighting the pain (he looked good in the first half vs atl before he re aggravated it.) the fracture is what’s going to hold him out. once that heals naturally, he will likely be cleared to return. realistically, i would think we’re looking at week 12, maybe week 11 if the process is very quick. the hip issue will fix itself. the real question mark will be how the torn labrum affects him the rest of the year. i would expect him to be managed throughout the week in practice so that he can recover throughout the week from the pain he will experience from playing in games. i would also expect him to be on lots of pain meds and such to keep the pain down. as long as the injury and pain doesn’t inhibit his mobility, he should be a full go in game once he returns. to sum it all up: we’re looking at likely a 3-4 week absence (including the bye) but possibly more. the time he’s out depends entirely on his fracture, and hopefully pain management for his labrum won’t be too difficult during the season. praying for a quick and speedy recovery for chase 🙏🏻

      Often. It's usually a problem with older people though. The issue with a contact sport like this is statistics don't apply as often. In younger people they typically are concerned with surgery because of the risk of reinjury because our youth compensates for some symptoms at times. It's painful regardless.

      I guess what's fascinating to me is the fact that NFL players are one of the best athlethes on earth but they are also able of breaking their bodies in the most gruesome ways possible. The pain of their sacrifice and glory behind their success might be unfathomable to my mind.
