Ironically they are so anal about checking people's receipts not from people stealing ....but from employees/cashiers who run scams by getting friends and family to walk in and buy expensive things and either discount them heavily or purposely not ring up expensive items so it just looks like a normal purchase. (Since Walmart loses most of their profit from internally, like hundreds of millions of dollars a year. I used to know people who'd steal from Wal-Mart then literally go return a few stolen items for hundreds of dollars worth of cash/store credit )
Probably also why drones are finally becoming a thing they test so the middle/upper middle class don't actually need to go there while still benefiting from supply/demand pricing

A cool way to intercept a Walmart drone Step one : buy a jet powered or electric motor rc plane or helicopter Step two : buy and install a FPV Kit in your RC aircraft Step three : weaponized it with battery powered airsoft (pistol or SMG) and rocket with spikes in the head to stick on the target 🎯

My Drone business won't drop packages by parachuting but will softly land in a predestined area by customers getting a receiver beacon on where Drone will / and can land. Then it will release packages when packages touch ground. Walmart Drone delivery by Drone up is a idea I see worthwhile. Next Uber eats and grubhub. I plan on food delivery instead of using vehicles. Drones will gently bring your dinner/lunch/breakfast.
This to the best of my knowledge is actually a "blood delivery" drone. I'm not gonna get into it here but the channel Wendover productions has a really good video on the topic.
That's a standard landing for the drone, it's owned by Zipline. Those drone don't need a runway, they are slingshot into the sky and then recovered like that.

The drone is caught by a wire. There is a small hook on the tail of the drone that catches the wire and stops the craft.
Similar system has been operational in Uganda and Rwanda for a while now delivering blood, medicine, hiv drugs etc

They have drones that can land via GPS and we catching them manually. Someone needs a better engineering department
For those wondering why not land it - landing takes time and skill. Catching it cuts operational times by half or even more.
