      Good for you! No matter what game you play, there will always be negative response. Dont let it get to you though: Im sure BGS will at some point add content such as survival mode ect, just not as fast as the majority wants to.

    I'm still playing as well. There is plenty of room for improvements and certainly more content. I would love to see legendary quest rewards scale up to superior. For example, I'm on NG+4 and the Mantis gear is not worth equipping and hasn't been for a while. I still run it and often there is a superior bounty hunter suit and free ship.

    I'm over 400 hours into the game and still finding content that keeps me playing. Though I do have some gripes, like the Astral Lounge in Neon being like a kiddie Telletubbie club instead of a decadent druggie one, and I agree new content is coming way too slow, I really am enjoying this game.

      Those costumes are horrible. Whoever designed them must have been high on something. Also the lighting is too bright, almost pastel like. Should be darker and more ominous, would be more immersive. To me.

    • @SirStefanGaming

      Yeah I don't know either who thought the current design to be believable and immersive. Kinda feels like old Hitman game environments with NPCs just bouncing around.

    Like so many others, I sat down to this game with the big anticipation question, what's out there? The answer. We are! One spectacular city of the technos and a rival faction of space cowboys. Plus raiders and mercs. Right there is where you can't fix this game with an update. It's a cop out concept from day one. A bugged crass attempt at making a space game from elements of Fallout. Fixing the bugs will lower the irritation level with it, but the concept will remain underwhelming.

  • @mrsev765
    @mrsev765 6 месяцев назад +1

    I very much doubt bethesda is doing much work on Starfield. They've got the Fallout TV show coming, 76 and the FO4 nextgen update are their priority to coincide with the show. The drip feed of bug fixes for starfield is the bare minimum they can get away with to say to investors they haven't gave up on it.
    Lets be honest though, the ammount of loading screens will never be lessened and the likelyhood of having varity in caves and bases while exploring is exceedingly low. Adding more linear story content isn't what the majority of people who have issue with the game want to see to come back to it.

    • @SirStefanGaming
      @SirStefanGaming  6 месяцев назад +1

      If it isn't all window-dressing to keep up appearances towards stakeholders, I think we all agree these updates are coming in way too slow. If it IS window-dressing than ES6 is already in trouble like a car crash in slow motion and Starfield will never be the game both BGS and players alike hoped for.

  • @bobby1129
    @bobby1129 6 месяцев назад

    At a first glance this update looks insignificant if u don’t look into the patch notes …. However the amount of bug fixes and qol updates in the patch notes in this update is massive . This just shows that they are commited to making this game as clean and polished as possible and it’s important for the game to have a solid foundation before they start adding content

    • @SirStefanGaming
      @SirStefanGaming  6 месяцев назад

      Good point! I don't doubt a commitment of some sorts has been voiced for the sake of due diligence. But as I looked in the patches notes (and sure, there are a lot of bug fixes ect) do you really need 6 months with 250 devs (their words not mine) to fix these bugs and not be able to add content that's not directly touching these small fixes? Let's say 50% of the team is working on new content and 50% on bug fixing & they work 7 hours a day. Over 6 months time that's 157.500 HOURS of bug fixing being performed....
      You are right in the sense that the typical workflow after release is bug fixing ect before you start adding more content (adding a floor to a house with a crooked foundation will cause the house to collapse) but a lot of people will argue that the foundation was and is severely lacking and it should have been far less so to begin with.

    These "every 6 weeks" updates are supremely underwhelming.
    And the fact that they won't even acknowledge the request for vehicles planetside tells me that this is just the same old Bethesda-- "We know what you need, we don't care what you _want_ "

    • @SirStefanGaming
      @SirStefanGaming  6 месяцев назад

      Yeah about the vehicles; there might be the chance that they do acknowledge it internally but know it's going to take a loooot of work to make that happen so they're very careful with not giving off any concrete description of "new ways to travel" in case they can't make it work....speculation of course but otherwise; if you KNOW you can deliver vehicles then why not say so to let us know you've heard our request and place that dot on the horizon?

    I played it for about 50 hours in launch week, but it fizzled out very quickly. It just feels too empty and samey to really grab my attention for longer, but maybe I will give it another try once a survival mode gets released, I always felt like that would lend itsalf really well to the space setting.

    Arrowhead has there sh-t together.... Bethesda, has too much incompetence... that's probably what's slowing them down?
    I mean it's literally like you said.. 200+ devs vs.. 100 man team!?
    And Arrowhead was working with an old dead engine that they had to customize & had no help from the original creators from what I understand...
    THEY ALSO HAVE WORKING MECHS IN THERE GAME.... and VEHICLES!? (WTF BETHESDA.. God, that depresses me to no end.. just thinking on it, also kinda get pissed off as well)
    Also as for Starfield, I messed around a lot in the game on console, made it to the end of the game "story wise" but never WENT through with the ending... Like I just .. fell out of love with the game, if that makes any sense? I was so excited for it initially... it just let me down big time. Starfield somehow made space boring to me...

    It’s very buggy and I would like more content like a land vehicle.
    I’m exploring the outpost mechanic and would like the bugs with that fixed. Its a pain in the ass but there’s so much potential there

    I'm conducting an experiment with a new game start to see how many levels I get from just surveying every planet and moon. I run with 120 mods and have a mod that doubles the experience gained overall and so far after surveying 22 complete systems I'm already up to level 73 in which I have only done the initial quests to get into the Constellation. I have stolen ships (which seems way to easy when they land with no crew - still a bug) and taken out 4 enemy type outposts and of course the bounty guys chasing me.

    Where is gi1, path tracing on consoles. Starfield reliance on cubemaps strongly suggest they'd transition to path traced shadows reflections and lighting. Certainly engine needs it since outdoor shadows are not existent. But the game itself is boring. I'm stuck on last mission because I don't have good enough ship and building is level locked. Story needs to be stronger. Someone needs to 'fallout vegas' this game.
