I was really young when viewing this, like wayyy young. I don’t know the age maybe 3 to 7? I don’t even know, but all I know is that I enjoyed the HECK out of this game!
Space Wizard I think I'm more "aloof" about it than a "douche". Besides, I'm not kidding. Even for a decent/good game, it's pretty dated and shouldn't deserve that much recognition, especially since the dislikes happen to take up about a third of the bar, lol.
Am I the only one who thinks that the boss battles are lousy and things we've already seen before? Like the developer is going "Here, have a giant normal enemy from Super Paper Mario as a boss". Like... can't they just make their own characters? It's just a shame how it looks pretty presentable and the dialogue and characters (not counting the main cast) are just recycled. Like even GRODUS is in this game. Why? Didn't he get almost 90% destroyed at the end of TTYD?
+MisterBoners To be fair, art creativity was limited back in the day, either because of technical reasons (RPG Maker 2003 supports 240p and 256 colors only), or because artists that were willing were hard to come by. As for the writing, the plot is mostly an excuse as is obvious, but such things were forgiven since not one Mario fan game made with RPG Maker was finished before, so it is kind of a start in the scene. Fair points though. But again, no one expected a fan game like this to be made years ago. The Starlite Worlds does a number of one-ups for these points, too.
Amazing! I have never seen fan game like that before. I tried one Sonic fan game... If you didnt ALWAYS do the most powerful move possible, you would instantly lose. AND what kind of battling is that??
Fan game hmm? If i were to make a mario rpg fan game id have the pasics of it baced from m&l bowsers inside story (otherwise saying the sound effects the sprite animation from the caracters, etc)
