This idea has so much more potential today than it did when it was made. Imagine they made a sequel today. They could make so many jokes about the multiverse/continuity cast a new actor as the dragonfly the have Drake bell come in as the og.
Looking back at this with a straight face when I was a kid lol and most of these scenes are from raimi films and realize how masterpiece the trilogy was back then.

3 SPIDER MEN AND A DRAGONFLY.
Would’ve been weird yet really cool to establish the David Zucker universe where everything is comedic and everyone is stupid.
Drake Bell, the actor who plays dragonfly, could just play spiderman and it wouldn't be out of place since he also voices Peter Parker in Ultimate Spiderman. But I guess they wanted to keep it to just the three live versions of spiderman
And dragonplant (mr.bean)
and then thanos tries shoving them all up his arse, but dragonfly saves the day and they all give him a medal and a cake.

Nevertheless, it would have been a very interesting cameo if an elderly Nicholas Hammond was helping a slightly injured young Drake Bell walk to safety, both trying to look inconspicuous and not draw attention, while Tobey, Andrew and Tom were embracing each other and saying their goodbyes at the end of the movie.

It's not that cultural sense has changed. This movie was funny even back then. But now, nobody makes a pure comedy movie you can just get laid back and watch without any thoughts. So we get to appreciate this movie. It's like, there used to be tons of icecreams back then, but somehow icecream got extinct and now we truly appreciate its flavor.
