    The league stays complicating everything. Just let the top 8 from each conference battle it out. You can literally be 8th seed but you're not considered the 8th seed. I guess it makes sense with where we are today.

    • @capslocked7274
      @capslocked7274 2 месяца назад +2

      you missed the point completely, its absolutely boring to watch the post season when teams play against teams that already secured a spot, this makes the battle for the top 6 seeds more competetive, and it gives teams seeded lower still something to fight for.
      but hey, atleast you found a reason to shit on trans people

      @@capslocked7274 The last sentence you wrote...that's the real reason why you addressed me. Anyway, teams work hard to secure their spot. Lower seeds battle to make it to the top 8. That's what they fight for. I think YOU missed the point. I believe the play-in is a way to add more games to be played to more seats can be sold. More money. It's the reason why they do everything these days. Ever see the All Star game in recent years? That's a money grab. People pay all of that to watch the best in the world not even try. But hey, I respect your views. Freedom of speech is a great thing.

    Single game elimination is gnarly for a tournament I think a best out of 3 back to back games for each matchup would be most fair.
    whats the point of a tournament if you just get knocked out in 1 or 2 games. teams have off nights

    Isn't a little unfair, that a 7th seed has to compete for a spot to be on the playoffs by being 7 games better than the 10th seed?

      If the difference between 7th and 10th is less than 4 games there should be playin, otherwise special cases should be considered, even including up to the 6th place if things are pretty even between 6th and 10th.
      Otherwise this will only foster even more mediocre regular seasons.

    • @jimmie_g
      @jimmie_g 3 месяца назад +4

      No. In the NFL, the wild card round is part of the playoffs and the loser is always eliminated. In the NBA, the play-in is NOT part of the playoffs and the loser of the 7 vs 8 seed game gets another shot of getting in the playoffs by beating the winner of the 9 vs 10 seed game.
