- Opeth!! I think it's fair to call this song the centerpiece of their Still Life album. One of the best intro riffs of all time, and one of the best outro riffs of all time. The middle part isn't too shabby, either.
Wow, hearing a song like this performed in a different context really makes you appreciate the complexity of the songwriting. Great stuff man.

Benighted is the best song on Still Life
It's fun how everybody picks a different favorite.
For me the 3 bests, are in this order, The Moor, Godhead's Lament and Serenity Painted Death. But the whole album is fantastic, and I love how Benighted is a perfect transition between GL and MV. I play it non stop on the guitar
