I love your videos. Thank you from Texas ❤
Thank you Dr Newson for the invaluable information. I have G P prescribed HRT and I’m now also one of your patients who has testosterone I can’t tell you how much better I feel after just 3 months. Truly transformative
Taking HRT changed my life! Before taking it I was lucky to get 2 hours sleep, each night and my aches and pains were dreadful. Falling down the stairs from top to bottom would have broken many a 75 year old but I got up and walked with a bruised hip. No X-ray was recommended, however, the nurse (not a GP) invited me to have an examination which I declined as I could walk. Little did I realise the consequences of not asking for an MRI as 16 months later, an emergency operation was performed as I had chronic Corda Equina syndrome and the GP misdiagnosed this condition. The paramedic recognised the symptoms immediately and saved me from paralysis!
Thank you so much ❤😊
Thanks for posting this video
Thank you, Dr. Newson. Everything you say is very informative and useful. 🙏🏻
I am 42 years old and was on combined contraception for 25 years without any known side effects. I stopped when I was 40, and 7 months later, I got my first UTI. I’ve had three UTIs since then. I started experiencing perimenopausal symptoms after a year, so my GP, who has been very helpful, assisted me in starting HRT (patch, micronized progesterone, Vagifem) at my request. I asked for vaginal estrogen to help with my urinary symptoms, but she couldn’t provide it. After a month on HRT, I feel like new (although my libido is still zero). I still have some urinary discomfort and kidney pain after a course of antibiotics, so I am now waiting for my GP to call me back. I’m not sure if anyone can help me with my libido and UTIs, but if not, I will definitely reach out to your clinic. You and Dr. Kelly Caspersen are my favorite doctors. Thank you for everything you do for women. 🙏🏻
Thankyou.
Very helpful awareness.
Thank you for the podcasts, In US, Just started climara 0.025mg patch once a week and prometrium 100mg daily, 2 weeks now. Feeling flu like symptoms. Should I try it for few more weeks? Is there a low estrogen option besides climara .025mg patch.
I'm on evorel Conti patches. How do I know if they are body identical patches?
Hey I've just started evorel conti patches, and I'm sure dr.louise said in different video that the oestrogen/ estradiol is body identical but the progesterone norethisterone is synthetic.
I'm taking oestragel and utragestran vaginally, while awaiting for my coil removal and its misplaced .
My dr won't give me testosterone as my levels are noramal, but mh body is telling me different from my test results, sge only up my dose of my thyroxine as my underactive thyroid was on the low side.❤

Can you make a video on late onset menopause please, I’m 55 and still not in menopause?
Getting testosterone in the U.S. is ridiculous for women. Why do I have to be the one to ask my doc and when I did…I got “try this hormone enhancing…” so frustrating
I hear you. My oby told me .......The only evidence-based indication for the use of testosterone in women is for the treatment of postmenopausal women who have been diagnosed as having hypoactive sexual desire disorder/dysfunction after formal biopsychosocial assessment (Level I, Grade A'. In other words NO! I am so frustrated - I'm trying to find a healthcare provider who is aware of the needs of women in this walk of life!
@@dwbeulahI hear you, it’s the same in Canada. I think the only country that has an approved women specific testosterone is Australia (androfemme). Do a search on the North American Menopause Society’s website for a menopause trained practitioner in your area.
This is a very good point. Additionally - there are no FDA approved Testosterone medications for women in the US
